Donating YT 3000 Club Member | What you have is a parti yorkie. . .she is adorable. If you have not docked her tail I would leave it. They have the most beautiful tails. Like a plume Here are a little info about Biewer and Parti Yorkies The Biewer, named after the founder, originated in Germany in the mid 80's. Over the years they are selectively bred and a standard was set. The standard is similar to the Yorkie, but calls for specific color placement. White paws, tip of the tail, symetrical coloring on the head and face, etc and no docking of tail. It has been recognized as a separate breed by some organization and can be shown in some venues. Not in the AKC Partis are tri-colored Yorkies. They can be registered with but not shown in AKC. Can be shown in some other venues. There is no standard set for them that allows for the non-standard coloring, but typically, most Parti breeders follow the YT standard with color as the exception. Biewer info can be found here... http://www.biewerbci.org You can get more info on the Parti Yorkie here... Yorkshire Terrier - PARTI YORKSHIRE TERRIER CLUB

| Oh my goodness. Just reading one of the links and learning that even to this day some breeders who end up with a Parti in their litter will "dispose" of it. I'm shocked. Just makes me want to love on mine all the more! |

| Oh! explain to me parvo? What do I need to do? I have always just had my one dog in the house. This will be the first time for two dogs ever. |

| Is the concern that my dog has parvo and will give it to puppy or that puppy will have parvo and give it to my dog? |

| Adult dogs should be vaccinated and not get it but new puppies until they have gotten all there shots are at risk.

| I agree with Lovetodream88. If I was the breeder, there is no way I would take a pup out of my house until they have at least 2 vaccinations. I might suggest you make a house visit to her, and be sure to wash your hands, before handling her. Parvo is deadly to puppies. |
