| supplements I have 2 mom's and litters I'm fostering right now. One I got 6 days prior to delivery and the other when the pups were 3 weeks old. The one with the threeweek old pups is Missy and the other is Coco. Missy's pups are now 7 weeks old and Coco's are 5 weeks. Missy has very sparse hair, actually almost smooth on the sides. Shes been tested and is neg for dermodex(sp?).Coco is losing her hair, esp around her neck to the point I had to remove her collar to keep the hair from rubbing off. The vet thinks its from poor nutrition during the pregnancy and said just to feed them a good quality food , which we're doing anyway. Is there any supplements to help. Right now I'm using the royal canin nursing mousse for Missy but Coco is on ID food due to diarrhea. Fecal is negative for anything so she's being treated for gastritis with antibiotics, probiotics and pectin liquid . |
