| ![]() Now I've heard it all. Breeding on your lap??! Gosh! I don't know how you do that!..lolol. I've heard of breeding on the table, the phonebook thing. I've heard of bitches laying down too. When I was searching for a stud. I thought I wanted a tiny one. Well I just fell in love with Sultan who is just about the same size as my girls. And I'll tell you what. I wouldn't have it any other way..lolol. He hits the target in seconds. But I'm having fun reading these experiences!! ![]() |

| ![]() Hi Everyone, I guess I should have introduced myself, I am sorry! I am a yorkie lover and breeder from New York. I have 10 yorkies in my house right now (plus 4 in Jolie's belly..which are coming today if the temp thing is right!). My friend, a breeder/show person from CT left her three here, so normally we are 7. I have been watching the boards for a while (lurking). Take Care and I look forward to more great advice....Lori

| ![]() I am hands on. I don't want any of them tugging each other or getting hair tangled in places that there shouldn't be hair. I haven't had to do much in the way of actual assisting of the connection though. They are pretty good at that part on their own. |

| ![]() I'm a hands on breeder. I help my little stud yorkie Mousey. I used to let him try to do it himself. But sometimes it would take him so long, he would work so hard he would vomit. So know I guide him and he is tied in less than 30 seconds. His average tie is 20 mins. He was tied once for 33 min. I also breed mini golden doodles. My male mini poodle breeds full size golden retrievers. We use a platform I built for him to make the tie. Then we turn him and let him stand on a chair. I'm attaching a pic of this. I hope this doesn't offend anyone. I never thought I could get this done. The first time was really an aventure. |
