Senior Yorkie Talker | 3-weeks-old today Here are the pups. We are still supplementing and praying as they slowly continue to gain weight, some days more than others, some barely anything, but still gaining. This morning we were at 10.3 oz (B) and 10 oz (G). They have opened their eyes, stand and walk/wobble (but they can move pretty fast for such little babies!). A few days ago, they started to pee on their own and as of yesterday (girl) and this morning (boy), they also pooped on their own, or at least that's the first time I noticed it because it happened during the feeding session. Maybe they started sooner than that, but mom was keeping them clean? They can climb too! Usually when I sit on the floor to feed them, while I'm getting set up, they walk over to me and start climbing on my legs! I guess they know why I'm there...haha. They're just adorable and I'm really hoping and praying that they make it and that they're healthy. This morning the little girl refused the bottle. I still managed to get 6 cc's in her, but I'm worried about her as now her brother has passed her in weight...he was usually a few tenths behind her...although he has been drinking almost twice as much formula as I would expect so I guess that would do it Anyway, that's this week's update. Thanks to everyone who follows up and post such wonderful comments. I do read them all even if I don't always get to reply. Thank you for your kindness!

| precious, precious babies, you are such a GOOD, concerned mom. It must be soooo thrilling to see these babies from birth to eyes opening, now walking, climbing on you. I was always afraid to mate any of my females, I could never watch them give birth, I would have had to take her to the vet for the birth lol, just to make sure she was safe while she delivered, and to make sure all pups came out. I would not be able to have given them up, I would have kept them all, no matter how many she had lol, reason I had them spayed, and of course for medical reason. I commend you for this, call me OVER PROTECTIVE , SCADY CAT lol but that is just me. Thank you so much for sharing with us. I know I look forward to hearing and seeing their progress. Good luck with baby girl, hopes she catches up to her brother. Look forward to your next post.

It has been hard and definitely not without gut-wrenching worries, panic, stress, and just all-over concern, but even in the short period these pups have been here, it has been the sweetest (also very tiresome) experience I've had in a very long time. Just hoping for the best with these little angels. And yes, I think making the decision to keep or place will be very difficult as well, but I'm leaving that one aside for now as I need to focus on making sure they do well and are healthy first You're also in the northeast (PA)? Oh what a winter it has been! Some snow again today and apparently more on the way Sunday night. I've never been a winter person, but this year has been simply brutal! I'm just sick of it.

If my husband had a job in a warmer climate as good as the one he has here, we would have been gone long ago too. My entire family hates bundling up and my oldest son loves to play baseball...he could use a longer baseball season also Needless to say, we've been miserable this winter :|
