Sorry guys, my phone would not let me post. Chip is doing good. He is continuing to try and nurse on Dixie. I have been tube feeding him still. Weighed him this morning and he is up to 2 oz. Hoping to have him to his birth weight by Thursday, which will make him a week old. We did not get his tail or dew claws done. We will wait till he gets stronger and can gain weight without my help. The other pups are now all over 5 oz. He looks so small compared to them! Thanks so much for all the compassion and support! It means a lot and I doubt I would still have Chip around without it.

Congratulations on your work with Chip! You DO realize dont you, that it is thru YOUR effort that this baby is still alive! God is watching your effort and He is pleased. Your intensive work is paying off!!! It is soooooooooo hard, working around the clock to save this precious little soul, but this is what you must do, and you are doing it well! Time for sleep later!!! Dont slack off on your tube feedings until he hits at least 3 oz.....preferably 3.5 oz.....you can then go to every four hours around the closk.....doing a great job sweetie! Hang in there!

Another day done. He is staying at 2 oz, not gaining but not losing weight. He is nursing on Dixie more and more. Still have been tube feeding. He sure is a fighter!
