This is an online discussion forum. If someone creates a new thread, they are the ones opening themselves up, publicly, and should not expect everyone to tip-toe around them. They should be able to listen to and consider those that agree and disagree -- or it won't be a "discussion" board. You shouldn't have to send a PM and not give your opinions publicly. Maybe there should be a "hug and pat someone on their head" board somewhere for those that only want everyone to tell them that absolutely nothing is unacceptable.

I've seen plenty of compassion here for people going through very difficult and horrible times with their pups. But this isn't "Fellow Human Talk," it is "Yorkie Talk." This is about what is best for little creatures that we are blessed to have, not how we humans are the center of the universe and how they revolve around us at our convenience. If someone notices that there is something going on that is bad for a Yorkie (or Yorkies in general) how can they NOT speak up? Why should they keep their mouths shut or their keyboard un-tapped? To speak up is NOT a lack of compassion for their fellow man, that person is not in any trouble or distress, not in danger of their lives. Grown, healthy adults are fully capable of taking care of themselves. It is speaking up for those that have no voice at all.

Are y'all reading exactly what I type or just picking and choosing specific parts to address? Either way I'm game. I suggested sending a pm so the OP would be more receptive. Based on past threads the way some members handle things has caused people that actually need the help and education to refuse to post or leave the forum all together. Maybe you're okay with that. But i know those same people who left are going to continue doing things that others consider wrong just because of how we approach them. "Hug and pat someone's head" that's laughable. where did I say we had to be all nicey nice?

I owned a yorkie out of the Wee Burgundy line, she did not live a long life due to genetic defects. Another breeder I know of, purchased one from this line and he passed away around the age of 1. I do not know you but if you love yorkies enough to seek out a board for help, then please do a little more research before continuing your breeding practices. Sometimes, just loving an animal as a pet/companion is better choice.

Conversely, that means you didn't want anyone to post anything that might be contrary to what the OP wanted to hear. Why must I explain your own logic to you?

BTW, I have worked with kids for the past 23+ years. I believe that the comparison between abuse of animals and abuse of children is quite apt.
