Awh but then you believe in risking your 3yr old gals life? Nice. YOU don't think risking her life, and the rigors of whelping is cruel?? You had an intact female, don't you think you should have ascertained that the male you adopted was actually fixed - so what happened actually would not have happened. You get a crate the bathroom was for emergency use over 24 hours. Use a belly band. Then he won't pee everywhere.

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | ![]() [QUOTE=princessandcoco;4185287]ok i do understand where your coming from trust me it wont happen again but whats done is done so please im trying to care for my pregnant girl as best i can she will be fixed when she has the babies so i wont have to worry ok i was just asking advise on what to do about an xray not to get put down over and over by you i dont think its right please[/QUOTE I and others here first answered your question about Xray date. You were I believe cross-checking the facts, you had your whelping coach say 56/58 days and your vet going for 40 days. What I would suggest is you Google when is best time to get pregnant bitch Xrayed?. Then you will have a third tier of response. Then as I suggested you do, you call your vet and ask WHY 40 days? You now will have some great back up - to say to the vet that; it is my understanding 56 to 58 days is more usual to do an Xray. Putting you down? I don't think so. I have elaborated in my answers facts n stats, I have shown that you did have options in going forward or not with this pregnancy, I have clarified the choices you have made have put your female at risk. I have given you in some answers, some ideas of where you can go if you might find your vet is just too inexperienced to actually be of use to you. I have even elaborated on the health risks Yorkies are prone to; to get you to think beyond the whelp, so that when you place your pups with their future owners you can be clear about them; so that they know what they potentially are signing on for. And of course your financial and emotional burden as well. And am glad you are financially secure; for Yorkies do often need C sections. Not too sure what that would cost in Niagara Falls - but upwards of $1000 I would guess. And finally these threads become educational tools for future readers. I am very aware that when I type a response to you, I am typing a response to many many future readers of this thread.
