| Yorkie Breeder Hi All! This is my first post, lets hope I get it right lol... We just recently lost our two yorkie babies , and though we aren't ready yet, it won't be long until we open our hearts to two other yorkie babies. I've been searching high and low, and am pretty specific in what I'm looking for... I want both to be females, One silver and gold, silky coat, slimmer build, big eyes, short little nose and on the smaller side... The other is going to be the more difficult one to find... And is the one I'm most focused on!! Black and gold, thick cottony coat, with mostly gold on the face, ears that fall a little more naturally, cobby little compact body, and shorter legs, about 4-7lbs no smaller HEALTH is of the utmost importance to us! And if that means going bigger, then by all means! My little chunky monkey was 8lbs small and I loved every oz of her! I do not mind traveling, and intend to do so to pick up my pup! I really don't like the idea of shipping and haven't found any decent yorkie breeders in Arizona I really like the biewer bred with traditionals... don't know why, just do! Does anyone have a yorkie from or have experience with the following breeders?: Home Parti Yorkies and Yorkshire Terriers . Quality Parti yorkies. - Quality Traditional and Parti Yorkshire Terriers The Toybox - PartiTime's ToyBox I like them all... like honestly, HOW on EARTH does someone choose the right breeder! grrr! For the more traditional look I've been looking at : Welcome to annstefs.com Yorkies Breeders Blumoon Yorkies AKC Yorkie puppies AKC Yorkshire Terriers Kansas Missouri As well as a million others, but as of now are partial to these... Anyone out there with any experience/feedback/ etc? Any and all comments are appreciated, of course if you have a breeder in mind you think I would like better, I'd love contact/facebook/or website info! Thank you all in advance

| Have you checked YTCA in your state for breeders? Welcome to YT and good luck in your search. I had to edit. I had written a reply about the wrong breeder. Sorry not the same as the one you listed .

| Everytime I try YTCA I get an error message or 4 folders that show up, no real website. Have you or anyone else experienced this?? I would love to have access to the site and can't figure out why I don't! Thank you for your reply!

| If you want specific looks I would purchase an adult. Some breeders retire and sell their breeder dogs or sometimes people who show hold on to a pup untill its an adult to see if it meets showing criteria and when they dont they sell them

| If we do an adult we've discuss rescuing through one of the Yorkie rescues or small dog rescues! I think we need a puppy in our lives, I like having that strong bond and for them to be trained using our methods in our home. But we will most likely rescue one as well <3

| Oh rescuing would be great. The title of your thread was yorkie breeder so I assumed you wanted to get a pup from a breeder only

| Well I would love a pup and do really really want one, but we are also open to the rescuing! All of our current dogs are rescues. I'm totally against pet store dogs, puppy mills, and "breeders" selling "tea cups" or multiple dog breeds! I'm in no rush so will take time looking and waiting for a reputable breeder that breeds for health and beauty before getting our pups! In the meantime we may just have to consider a rescue! Also, If any of you DO have a breeder you recommend let me know ! Thank you!!

| I know both Anna and Gigi. We are in the ring together. Gigi can be a little rough with people. Anna is very nice and helpful. Both have nice dogs in the ring. Gigi has been showing smaller dogs, so not sure if she has any bigger. Don't know either one of their pet prices or quality of their pets. |

| I just wanted to pass on my experience to you also. When Lola passed away I too wanted a puppy for that bonding and training experience. So Ruby came into my life. Ruby and I have a very strong bond. Fast forward three months after picking Ruby up and my breeder calls me up and says I have an adult, born in 2007, who I need to retire. She tells me that Little Mitsy Me is a gentle dog that still has play in her and she thinks Mitsy would be a good fit for Ruby. I have to tell you its been a year now and no one would ever guess that I didn't raise Rosie Aka Mitsy from puppyhood. We are that bonded. She learned a new name and caught on to the rules in my house quickly.and she came potty trained!
