| 7 weeks pregnant and panting. My baby became 7 weeks yesterday and she began panting last night and for the past few days she just wants me to rub her belly. Her last pregnancy she wouldnt let me hardly touch her stomach but now she invites me to all the time. This is not a premature labour is it? |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Are you absolutly certain about the timing, that she is at 7 weeks? If so, I wouldn't worry too much. In this weather and the heat we have been having nation wide I dont blame her. Plus it's normal for a pregnant female to cool of by panting. What ever it takes to keep her comfortable.

| You may have a point about the first tie. I recorded the first one was on 6/2. I tried to watch her and the sire very closely but I dont think I'm off by that far. But I would like to hear everything that people have experienced with their swelly bellies because she loves for me to rub her tummy and maybe she's just being pregnant and not protective as I'm assuming. |

| Well it's more like, the past several evenings, she gets likes excited out of no where and needs attention and then the panting and gazing at me. Once i began to rub her swelly belly she remains still until she's had enough. So, to answer the question, the ac is on and my house is always cool. I can't feel the pups kicking yet so I guess we are still on track. I'm expecting to feel kicks this coming week. Anyway, just really concerned cause I've witnessed her other two gestation periods (and this will be her last litter )but these actions are new to me. The vet says she seems t be doing fine but I would love to hear about others experiencing this. Thx for your comments. |
