YES!!! We got our Sophie from a breeder. She is GOOD & VERY VERY ETHICAL in her breeding too. She is not one these that breeds "Tea Cups" she breeds regular Toy sized Yorkie's if she happens to have a runt in the liter she will advertise it as a "tea cup" but does not "breed" tea cups. Our Sophie is SOOOO well mannered, LOVES EVERYONE & EVERY Animal! NEVER bites or nips. just the sweetest most tender personality ever. The Breeder we went through lives in 10 acres of land & her sister also lives on the property in a separate house. the neighborhood & houses are big, & her house is so clean you can eat off of the floors. Very nice ladies. they also breed other toy breeds. she is also VERY VERY reasonably priced. she is not overly expensive but not suspiciously cheap either. Our Sophie is going on 3yrs old & she is 8 - 9 lbs she is the perfect size for a cozy cuddly lap companion. You can visit the parent's, she is AKC registered & certified for her pure breeds. she does cross breed also (Morkies, Shorkies, Yorkie-poos). She has families as far as New York come & adopt/buy from her. here is her website: Home Page Puppies for sale she is in Middle GA. in Byron GA. We were in the market for a breeder for over a year & we locked in on her....They run a good,. ethical & clean, & affordable business. we paid $700 for our Sophie & a $100 deposit to hold her that went towards the price. You can put your deposit down for a future liter & pay her as you can, the day you take your pup home is the day the balance has to be paid off. Good luck to you! ;o)

NO WAY would I buy a pup from these people, Christian or not, they are byb on 10 acres of land of several different MIXED BREEDS, and they do advertise T-CUP, any way you spell it or define it is still an advertisement ploy and still wrong. I'm stunned by their contract "before you run up a vet bill" omg, no way......I am going to go so far as to say, I also think that Sophiegirl 724 is from this byb family...if I'm wrong, I hope you'll stick around YT and learn why breeders like this need to be stopped and exposed...honestly...sigh...

There is never any such thing as a teacup, a good breeder does not breed lots of different breeds nor do they breed mutts. Please do not buy from this person.

Things to look for to know its a good breeder is they do genetic testing on there breeders, they don't let the pups go home before 12 weeks, they are AKC registered, they do not use the word teacup or micro, the don't breed many different breeds or mixes, they don't keep the dogs or pups in out buildings, you can go look at where the pups are being raised, and there breeds are excellent examples of the breed and with in the standard also they will have a health guarantee. Please do not buy from a pet store no matter what a pet store says a reputable breeders would not sell there dogs to a pet store.

Yep. That's a state licensed puppy mill. I can spot those 300 miles away.
I wonder what the facility looks like. I've seen some pretty bad ones.

We had no problems with this breeder. The dogs are not kept off premises they are in her house & her house is GORGEOUS & Clean the dogs are clean. cross breeding is nothing new, her dogs are infact VERY healthy, playful, well mannered. She is AKC certified as I mentioned. parent's on sight too, she is open house for anyone to go & look & meet & greet. & she does not adopt out the puppies until they are fully winged from the mother & some puppies take longer than others & she is very protective of that to ensure the health of the dogs (Sophie was 13 weeks when we got her). Sophie has been perfect. in perfect health & well mannered. She may let the public know which pup is a "T-cup" but typically most people are weirded out by the term "runt", & I don't see anything wrong in her marketing the runts as a T-cup, as long as she is not breeding "T-cups" 90% of the breeders I was findging at the time were all solely breeding & selling T-cups & charging over $2,000- $5,000 a puppy. when I came across her she was the most ethical I had found & in my area. When we went to meet her & see the puppy she had available it was a VERY pleasant visit. very open, honest, clean. I wasn't looking for some champion breed for shows & etc, I was just looking for a family & personal companion. I think its a bit harsh to label her & her business as some "puppy mil", & un-ethical breeder. if she were purposely breeding T-cups I would not have given her the time of day. & I don't see anything wrong in her advertising the runts as T-cups to ensure they get homes too. She also works closely with a vet herself. the advice she gave & all that is on her website is everything a vet in our town had already told me prior to adopting, she was VERY forthcoming in everything no lies by omission...nothing! sophie has been PERFECT & I would gladly adopt from her again. The land they live on is all open. & it is a neighborhood, each house is like on at least 1 - 2 acres. they happen to have 10....5 for her sisters house & 5 for her house. they both have decent sized families. her dogs are not stashed in some shed or garage. her dogs are EXTREMELY WELL CARED FOR! she is also State certified. I don't know what else to say except we had an excellent experience with them & we send her updates & emails as to how Sophie is doing & what a Joy she has been to our family. from what I can tell she sells VERY successfully! Had our puppy not been ready, we would have to wait until another liter would become available & she does not breed all dogs all at once all the time. she does not always have all breeds available. if there is a specific breed you want she will let you know upfront when there will be availability & it can be quite some time. she is not breeding dogs like rabbits. she keeps the population VERY MUCH in control! & their houses & openness more than say it.

I am so happy you got lucky there are some that do but it makes me so sad that your are so easily fooled by this "greeder" and I hope one day you will see the truth and I hope anyone who sees this can see the truth and that, that breeder is not the way to go.

I thought I could sit on my hands but its not working. Breeders breed to better the breed and you are not doing that when you breed mutts therefore your not a good breeder. When you have many litters at one time there is no way they are in your house and that you are able to give them personal attention like they should have. Some of these kind of breeders will have the puppy mill else where and just bring some of the dogs and puppies to there house so they look like a great normal breeder. Puppies are not ready to go when they are just weened they learn stuff from there moms and siblings up to 12 weeks that are very important. The only time the word teacup is used is to make money period a good breeder would never ever use that word.

Thank you for not sitting on your hands, thank you for helping all Yorkies, thank you for saying it like it is, thank you for NOT looking the other way, thank you for giving voice to all the pups and for advocating against breeders like this....btw in my opinion, her contract is crap, her website is crap, and I still think the OP IS the breeder.

I will say that contract is not worth the paper it is written on. You never, ever, ever make owners return a pup who comes up with a health problem. That is such a deliberate ploy; as any breeder knows once the puppy owners have pup for 24hrs, they have bonded and will NOT return a dog.

You are licensed by the State, by definition you are a high volumne breeder. And as such can not give to the puppies actually home rearing. Just too many puppies to do this.

Where are the health tests on these breeding dams n sires? Even if you believe championing a dog is a crock of what-ever, surely breeding dogs free of genetic diseases is NOT a crock.!!

SophieGirl all I can say is none of us were borne yesterday, and it is very suspect you come on here to support a breeder on your first few posts.
