| I think he is just adorable. Its good that you asked everyones opions and I would also like to say that if you do breed him you might have trouble with him marking later. and then you may not. If you want to breed him for pets for your family then I dont see a problem with it. I think hes just adorable. But thats a decission you have to make. I might even breed mine one time, Im have not decided yet.But I wish you luck in what ever you decide. |

| A straight back or topline is a must and coat can vary alot. You aim for silk that feels cool to the touch and reflects light. There is no perfect dog but like others were saying once you see more closer to the standard that will stay with you it's just there in your mind at all times. This picture will show you how you would want your little guy's back to be. Pat, can tell you how the coat color changes through their lives. The library is a place that can give you lots of help....you already have come to a great place to learn. I admire you so much for how well you have taken the advise and dealt with constructive criticism....you have what it takes because you listen. This dog has perfect color too but believe me even this dog I bet has a fault

You wouldn't bring human children into the world if you couldn't provide for them would you? A responsible breeder (again, my opinion) will take a dog back during their lifetime if the buyer can't keep or isn't taking good care of the dog. If you can do all this, then find a responsible, local yorkie breeder who will look at your dog and give you their honest opinion about your dog.

You said you want another Yorkie? Good news! There are yorkies in Florida that need homes. No need to breed your boy cause there are already tons that are alive and need homes. Please visit this page: http://www.adoptablepets.net/dog-re21.html (United Yorkie Rescue) Don't see a good candidate there? Contact Florida Yorkie & Maltese Rescue, Gayle Harris (gayleharris@yahoo.com) OR go to www.petfinder.com and type in yorkie and FL. You will currently find 20 yorkies in FL listed there looking for homes.

| thank you for your pic and reply. the yorkie pictured below your reply is beautiful! as far as the truth i would rather the truth cause you cant learn from lies. its so hard cause alot of people around here do breed yorkies but there yorkies dont meet standard either. when i logged on to this website i was able to see much more yorkies including show yorkies. ive said this before i wish i had this site before i went shopping for yorkies. you live and learn. it is perfectly clear sampson is not breeding quality thats even minusing the ears and bad haircut. now i have to post a pic of my feamle and see what everyone thinks of her. now i know shes not show quality! i think she would be too big for show shes 7 lbs.but there maybe alot of other faults im not seeing with her also. thanks for helping i trully appreciate all of the responses. hey if i want to become a breeder my first lesson is come to yorkie talk first!!!! |

| You had your first leason in yorkie 101. You had a lot of imput on your male- and what others thought about your using him for breeding and why. Take this information- if your little girl has the same problems as your male you may want to rethink breeding her also. deep down in your heart you will know the answer. Love her and your male as the devoted and caring compainions they are to you and your family. |

| ok here are the pics of my female. please disregard the ears i have mentioned before thats my fault. im going to try that idea with the cardboard and eyelash glue to help then stand. i know they have potential to stand up because they have before after being shaved down. just didnt know when i first got her and sampson. she also looks a little fluffy , her hair was just blow dried. boy does she love the drier! ok makya is 11 months old she is 7lbs i will post more pics but this is all i have in my computer at the moment. |

| i do love them. if i shouldnt breed them well then thats just life! i wont be heart broken! i will just be a little dry in the pocketbook.lol i love my animals they are our family members. i will have to buy another yorkie cash instead of having one of sampson and makyas children. i posted some pics of her and your right i have enough information and maybe im wrong but i think she may not be a good candidate either. we will see what the yorkie talk members have to say and like i said if i cant then i cant but i know plenty of people here now that i know i can find a good looking yorkie in the future. thanks!! and dont forget to give me your opinoin about my female it was posted 2 seconds after your reply. thanks agian! |

| I think that I said everything in my last post. There is no reason to rehash what has already been said. You were gave a lot of valuable advice about your male from very knowlegable breeders - take that information and learn. The same things will apply to your female regarding whether she should br bred or not. There is no reason to go over it all again. You know the answer in you heart. |
