I would strongly suggest that a newbie having the desire to be a part of the YT Family read FLDebra's Earned Respect thread.

| ![]() I am really glad that your yorkie was able to whelp fine. A lot of times with these very small toy breeds it does not turn out well, a lot of sadness and tragedy follows> Now that you have 2 puppies, i hope they do well and do get the genetic testing done before adopting them out. Or are you plainning on keeping them? I have learned that it is wise to always have a mentor helping you when it comes to breeding. Just because your female has all the right body parts to breed does not necessarily make it the right thing to do. I did see that this thread felt like it was "I told you so" attitude. The OP not even using the apropiate language/ prego? really? that is not too great in the wording department. Or using the icons to represent something more sinister. So in the future are you going to spay your female? Or allow her to make more puppies? Then have the notorious name of a backyard breeder? Breeding is serious buisness. Especially with any toy breed dog. I am glad the puppies survived and the momma dog is caring well for them. Just curious what your next step is going to be?
