| Update. So I am feeding the puppies the Goats Milk mixture of 1 Can Goats Milk, 1 Can distilled water and 1 tablespoon of Karo Syrup, this is correct, right? They all seem to be eating well and are gaining a little weight. I have noticed when they poop it's you can hear a lot of air coming out as well and the poop is orange in color with little white specks in it sometimes, is this normal? |

Glad to hear that the puppies are doing great and gaining weight. We had orange poop for a few days but I don't remember seeing white specks in it. Hearing the air was normal for us but these puppies are feeding from a bottle and they get the air where a pup nursing doesn't. Make sure they are burped real good. We also upgraded to a Dr. Brown's bottle from the infant section and started with a preemie nipple but soon moved to a newborn nipple. The Dr. Brown bottle helped a lot with the air and them not having colic near as bad. You may contact your vet about the poop and see what they say or just run some of it over to him/her to see it. Don't forget to update us with pictures and weights. Can't wait to see how much they have changed. How is momma doing??? Keep up the good work and my prayers are still with you!!! Hugs!!
