| Future Interest in Pup from Yorkietalk Breeder I really want to get another yorkie.. I think it's an addiction.. But Harley is my main priority and we are still working on his behavior, which btw is going AWESOME! Anyway, I am posting this thread bc later in the future (later future meaning most likely late summer or fall of next year) I plan on buying a new pup (male or female? Not sure yet but probably a male) but want to get the highest quality possible. Meaning, I really want to purchase from a breeder on yorkietalk who I can trust, talk to whenever, see their bloodlines, health records.. I mean the whole deal. I want/need show ring quality/potential and a total mirror image of the breed standard. The money really isn't an issue bc with time I can save up as much as needed. But what would be great is if breeders on yorkietalk who would be interested in selling to me later in the future then please pm me and fill me in. Note: I want AKC FULL registration with breeding rights. So if you don't offer this option then I am not interested. I can promise any and everyone of you that may reply to this that I plan on making breeding my life and I am totally dedicated to this breed. Feel free to bug or question me! I'm an open book! I still have lots and lots to learn and am up for any lecturing anybody wants to give me.

| Good for you! You are a bit far for me to mentor hands on, but maybe Rini could help you with that. I would be willing to sell you a pup since you're serious about doing your homework. I won't have one available 'til 'bout then anyway. Will you be interested in showing him? |

Hello. I might have a puppy for you! I live in Ohio, but am able to travel to West Virginia if that's the case. What part of West Virginia are you from? Is it close to Ohio? Wheeling isn't too far from me, so if you're close to there that'd be great. Anyway. I have a little Yorkie now and I'm going to be breeding her for the first time this spring (April) and if that goes well I'll also be breeding her again in the fall (October). So, if you are interested, I can keep you up to date on everything and when she'll be having puppies. I have a record of her bloodline and will get a record of the male's bloodline also. Kayla (my puppy) even has a few champions in her bloodline so I'm sure her offspring will be great for breeding. Also, my pricing is definitely reasonable. So, just let me know if you might be interested. Like I said she'll be bred in April and if that goes well she'll be bred again in October. And of course she will be bred to a registered male. Just let me know.

i'm just a little confused... If you are going to breed her in april, 60 days later approx she'll have pups. that puts the pups being born in june. (depending on the date bred) so if you are planning to breed her again in Oct her puppies from her june litter will barely be 16 weeks old. are you sure you want to do that? and how can you be sure she will come back into heat definitley in oct. not trying to offend you, but i was just a little curious after reading... | |

| I also think Leeann stated she was only interested in full akc reg. didnt i read in another post your baby kayla is reg with apr? maybe i'm wrong. i'll look again. the only reason i'm questioning these things is because i fully understand how leeann feels and the expectations she has. most folks looking for what leeann is interested in having wouldnt obtain one from a 1st time breeder with a 1st time mommy. they would go after a solid background. no body's perfect in the world of breeding, dont get me wrong. when you breed your little girl in the future i'm sure you will find several people looking for a pet quality yorkie. they are no less of a yorkie than a show quality. however, i must say this...a few ch's in the pedigree does not guarantee a show quality, just like all ch's in the pedigree doesnt always either. i wish you the best and i hope you dont think i'm being rude here. is not my intention at all. i'm just one of those people who really tries to understand what i'm reading. |

| I have two Champion sired males- who I will be using for stud thier father is a Chamion who sired 2004 top Winning show Bitch who was also BOS at Westminster. Will be having litters sired by both of them. Just a word of caution- you are asking for a lot from the breeder. Be prepared for the breeder to ask a lot from you. Most of us are not going to sell a show quality male intact to a home that does not intend to show and who also wants full breeding rights. They will want to know about you- and what your intentions are and who do you intend to breed this male to in the future. You are going to be interviewed and will have to have a mentor- you will need to build trust with this breeder. Many a show puppy is placed in a pet home altered when a breeder has more puppies then they can show or feel that they do not have the right home for the puppy. If will need to look for a puppy that is 6 months old to meet all your requirements. Kathy |
