at how "Sugar's Mom" was treated on here. I'm not a fan of hers or a friend of hers and don't know her at all, but where is the humanity towards humans? When she said how sick she was, how could anyone continue to antagonize her? That was disgusting. Ban me if what I say is against the rules. I don't care because I'll just go in showing, breeding and finishing my Yorkies and I'll do it without going around kicking people when they are down.

Very sad to see someone baited in like that. Everyone makes mistakes. Dee cares for her dogs and takes very good care of them.

First I want to say I like Dee, wish her the best and wish her aa full recovery. Honestly no one knew she was a yter when they started that thread and I do agree with their stance that their is a different set of standards if they are a yt member or not and that should not be. Im glad she changed the ad but there were red flags in the ad. There also seems to be 2 groups on here and it creates conflict. One that goes along with bad breeding practices another that doesnt. And Im not pinpointing any one person with that statement it is general

I would agree with that statement, but probably a few more than 2 groups;)

There is not a universally agreed definition on here or anywhere else for that matter on "bad breeding practices". There are some things most will agree to as a "bad" practice, but there are many more things that are shaded in grey.

You have YTCA and other national clubs that outline their guidelines for member breeders, that at most IMO can be looked at as the "minimum" standard.

What saddens me is that in a season when one hopes for peace, love, and respect for our fellow man, we have dissension, attack, and counterattack.

As much as I hated to see Dee attacked the way that she way, I do think that it's a thread that will be (or at least, should be) an eye-opener as to how some conduct themselves and how pure meanness is being justified. It has NOTHING to do with being "2 groups"...that's silliness. It's about kindness and compassion. With that said, we can't control how people chose to treat others. We can only be responsible for our own hearts and those that we chose to surround ourselves with. Lots to be said for the old saying, "we are judged by the company that we keep". Just be true to yourself and stop trying to fix the hearts of others....that's for them to deal with.

To be honest I was raised like you don't kick someone when they are down :( Some people are trouble makers some just like to see others miserable cause they are miserable. All I know is I am a great believer in KARMA and sooner or later it will come back and kick you hard in the you know where..


There is a point in telling others your view and what you think they should have done or could do, when you keep on it and on it and you know the person isn't well then it makes you what you are, NOT a nice person . Even if you are 100 percent right that all goes out the window and nobody hears your point cause they are only looking at your cruelty. JMO :)

I wish Dee a speedy recovery and hope she won't take to heart the rudeness. You can have several people read one sentence and I truely see how it can be read in 2 different ways, it's all about how you personaly see it imo. You can choose to be a positive person or a negative one it is your choice, but compassion goes a long way!

Yes it sure it the same people over and over again! I sure did post about a "breeder" selling a 5 week old puppy. My friend is looking to add a Yorkie and came to me for advice because they knew I was experienced and wanted my opinion. After I gave my opinion it disgusted that yet again by what I read and I posted about it. Like I said yesterday I had no idea that is was a member of YorkieTalk let alone Sugar's Mom that was the breeder in question. You all have beat me up on 4 threads, calling me all kinds of name and making unfounded accusations.

I didn't do anything diferently yesterday then probably 100's other posters have done on this forum. None of them have taken the beating that you horrible people have given me. It's just ridiculous :thumbdown My resolve is stronger than all of you and I will not stop! There is power in education and education will stop poor breeding practices. The more you bash the h*ll out of me the more this issue will stay in the forefront. :thumbup: Just keep on going because I will not stop educating the puppy buying audience of YT. ;)

There's even more power in compassion. You summed it all up by calling a whole thread of members, "horrible people". I truly believe that a kind heart is a much more effective way to reach someone than a heavy hand.

I for one will not bash or put you down for you conviction of proper breeding practices, however I do feel that in this case (with Dee) more compassion was called for. I don't think Dee was being a bad breeder for not being more clear on her origional ad. I do feel that her being so ill called for abit of understanding and compassion especially since she made it a point to re-do her ad to make it alot more clearer for everyone. I think your conviction for proper breeding practices is commendable but I would suggest that you also understand there may be cases where you may find the need to put compassion first.

Well~after starting 3 separate thread to bash MEGANSMOMMA about an ad what else am I suppose to think about those that will not let up on me? :rolleyes:

That maybe it's your turn to be "not let up on" :( Maybe if you see how it feels you may not do it again. :(

I too am amazed at the amount of brow beating that goes on in this forum. Kindness goes a long way, you can give people information kindly or you can humiliate and badger them and they will never come back to learn the good things.

As far as the post made about 2 groups......"One group cares for dogs and doesn't make money selling them, and another group who does." What kind of statement is that?

How do you know they make money? Do you have access to their records? Do you know how many vet visits they make? Do you know what dog food they buy, What shots they give? Do you personally know them that you can state that they make money? How do you know who's is in each group?
A person can sell just one pup and make money or a person can sell 6 pups and not make any money.
It is truly sad that this is the way you categorize people on here.
YT is always stating they are open to everyone you can voice your opinions here and you have a say. Lately that is not the case, I am seeing to many people getting baited in and banned for trying to voice their opinions. Too many threads being closed over a few going into attack mode.
The people of this forum have tried and tried to tell the admin and mod that they are unhappy about they way they and others are being treated on this forum. Is anyone Listening? For some reason I don't think so. If you dare to raise a fuss over it , sorry your suspended.

That maybe you should apply more human compassion and not use so much anger to guide you. I know you call it passion and I get that, but it has crossed a certain line and it no longer comes across as passion for the breed and more of a passion to attack. I, for one, want to think of you differently and I'm sure the 3 threads that were started are because they are grasping to understand what lies in a person's heart that would cause them to attack a person when they are so ill. If you are mad at me for writing this, then that's okay...I can understand and respect your feelings. Can you do the same for those that are trying to understand you a bit more?

This is the second time you have quoted me, once in this thread and once in another and are assuming I am saying something, do you have a complex? :D There is no conspiracy or anything like that just some people trying to show you maybe you can change a little and you sit here and try to make it like we don't want you to push for the right things concerning Yorkies or any animal, :confused: you put a spin on a lot don't you :p you can think what you want, I could care less.. :)
