You know I end to agree...I don't think it is liver either...liver shunt pups can be very normal and active..then the toxic's build up and they go down..a seizure or act disoriented..walk against the wall, because it effects the eye sight. wishing you the best..

oh, wow. I've never heard that one before. He walks against the wall of cabinets and seems to be just fine, but I'll watch for that. Thanks for the heads up! I really appreciate it.

Very lethargic puppy Actually, just in the past 2 days, he's doing much better. He's apparently eating on his own as he's not losing weight and is actually gaining. It does go up and down, but not drastically down. We never see him actually chewing----more like a lot of licking----but he must be getting something. Mama is in with them a lot, but she doesn't have much milk any more. So he has to be getting some puppy food. We do supplement him w/pablum at our bedtime and a little Nutri-cal to be sure he has enough in him for the long night. He gets Nutri-cal about a total of 4 times a day. He's running and playing and even wrestling with the other pups until they get too rough and we have to save him. lol He's just precious and we now feel like he's going to make it. The vet wants to see him next week. He's not the same puppy he was even a week ago. Yay! Thanks to all for caring. Lin and Nano

| LOL dangers of having a litter and especially the "special" ones. That is my little Emma in pink and yup she is itty bitty but "special" for sure. Would not part with her ever..She is 18 months and tips the scale at 1 pound 10 ounces. Cant wait to see pics of your little man.

Very lethargic puppy I couldn't find "Very Lethartic Puppy" thread so I went to Breeder under 'Nano'. He's doing great even though we had a tiny hyproclocemic episode this evening. A couple of squirts of Nutri-cal and some formula in food seems to have re-established him. Yikes, that scares the dickens out of me. I have to go out of town to a full weekend of dog showing and I hate to think of him staying here, even w/hubby. That said, I might just have to take him with me.....that's Dec. 3.
