She was 1 ounce at birth! I tube fed her for 6 weeks. She then ate canned for about a week but then I started home cooking for her. I fed her every 4 hours round the clock, and most of the time she would not eat so I force fed her. Then at 6 months I moved to every 6 hours round the clock. Now at 18 months she eats every 8 hours. She was alot of time and work. Force feeding her was aweful but I did it. I still home cook for her. I take her everywhere with me and when I go to shows she is kenneled up. I have not had a day away from her at all.She has been in the emergency clinic twice..once I had to do CPR on her to bring her back and then for pneumonia. I have an ICU now set up here for her because staying overnight was very traumatic for her in the clinic. She has a hard time maintaining body heat so I have an electric oli heater for her and she lays near it alot and of course sleeps right next to me every night

But it is worth it. Each wet kiss from her froggy tongue reinforces all I have done for her.
