First of all, in THIS thread all I see are comments about the website and red flags that go off because of said website. First hand knowledge, we all looked at the website.

I see NO references to "well so and so got a dog from this breeder and..." in THIS thread.

So calling people a "pack of wolves" in THIS thread was extremely unfounded and just insulting because all the statements here were from honest first hand opinions based on red flags in the website.

As you can see, the OP learned about the red flags and in fact did NOT buy from this breeder and is now searching for a reputable breeder for a furever friend. It shows that this thread was helpful to them and they learned something, which is why we are here. It is good that you would never breed a pup that small.

I think perhaps you have the wrong thread. The comments on this one referred to a breeder's site that was selling way off standard dogs with a very poor health guarantee.

Not everyone knows where the red flags are on a breeder website and they can be easily blinded by a cute puppy picture. Many people don't realize that "teacup" isn't a real classification of dog and is just a greeder trying to make some extra cash by selling a potentially sick dog. The breeder that was mentioned on this thread was/is selling really really off standard dogs and most likely dissappears from the picture once the puppy is loaded onto the plane and sets out for their new home, as their "health contract" lists some possible genetic diseases that they don't cover, and they probably have more loopholes that will release them from any liablity if the puppy does fall ill, and possibly dies.

Are you a breeder?

I wish I had known about Yorkietalk before I purchased Buster. He had a health guarantee from a vet and they assured me he was not from a puppy Mill. Well neither was true and 14 months later I have spent over $5,000.00 in medical bill. Kennel cough, pneumonia, coccidia, giardia, LP 3/4 both rear legs, arthritis both front legs, not to mention the inguinal hernia that I knew about when he was 2 months old and Buster is only 18 months old. Who knows what else is down the road due to his early start. We all know that people will use clever marketing to lure in potential buyers. People come here and ask for advice. What is great about this forum is people are entitled to offer their opinion and the OP gets to sift through and make their own decision. I would rather have someone be aware of all the potential red flags than have to deal with the heartbreak of bring home a sick puppy or even worse one that dies. A health guarantee, a replacement puppy, NEVER makes up for the sadness of having to take care of a sick puppy.
Wolves or Hens I am glad they are out there helping.

We live and learn. I've witnessed a great change in YT since I joined. More educated buyers....However, we still get those new members, their first post is: Help! I just bought a pup and it's sick.

So, we never stop educating........somethings are repeated over and over again and they need to be.

Wolves - Hens whatever, keep up the good work.

Kudos to all of you that have posted advice re Tiny Treasures- looking at her dogs I totally agree with the dwarfism track- they do not look quite right . I occasionally breed a litter so that I can have my next show dog, and all others go to the right pet homes.
This is my first venture on this forum and I am impressed by the advice!!
ANYONE who asks $5000 for a PET yorkshire terrier is GOUGING the unsuspecting client and with no REAL health guarantee!!!!

Not one person in this thread mentioned anything negative about the breeder other than to point out things from her own website. I noticed that you list groomer and commercial breeder on your own profile but say you are not in it for the money only to better the breed? Could you be personalizing something said to you instead of looking at the actual posts made in this thread?

You call people here a pack of wolves for pointing out things this breeder listed herself on her site? No one said anything about something they heard or that they got a puppy from her. You said that people are witch hunting because a dog did not turn out to be a certain size but the only thing about size mentioned is that this breeder had listed the sizes of her breeding dams as 3 1/2 and 4 pounds. What thread are you replying to? Since you are a commercial breeder, do you have a website? What is your kennel name and location? If you are doing it all right, you should have no reason to hide behind "paintedpoodle." Do you sell poodles and yorkies? Do you sell poodle and yorkie mixes? Just trying to establish some context.

Just to help -- we are not actually allowed to hurl insults like "pack of wolves" on Yorkietalk. It is against the rules & guidelines, printed as a sticky on the General forum. It also helps people read your posts if you write in sentences and add punctuation marks. I am not critiquing at all -- just saying it is easier for us to read if you add a few periods. My spelling is horrible and I make a lot of typos. I try to fix them before I hit the reply button but plenty get thru so not saying mine are perfect at any stretch of imagination. I am always up for helpful suggestions to make mine more easy to read. Really just trying to help with this last paragraph. Pls take in spirit offered -- no offense meant in regards to lack of punctuation. But it will really make it easier on my old eyes at least.
