But when holding her, with my lips against any part of her head or anywhere on the body it does not feel like a fever

Is her abdomen swollen at all? Is there anything about her different? Appetite, thirst, loose stools, lazy? Share more about the discharge.


If I remember you said she's young. That's in your favor, but it's not a for sure thing. She is in the ideal target range for an issue. If it was my bitch I would take her in. What you and your vet decide, that's up to you. A dog may or may not act normal when they are very ill. It's hard to guess. I'm all for going to the vet.

She is acting normal, playing, eating, very energetic, other then the discharge she seems great.. the dischare is very light looking blood almost like pink.. like when she is at the end of her heat.. Talked to the vet again and will be there monday morning.. she had full panel blood test June 30th.. everything was good..

Forgot to say no swelling, very little odor with the discharge

If you told him everything about her and he said wait until Monday that should be a good option for you. If you picked a good vet there's no reason to second guess the choice.

thanks, not second guessing just being a worried mom.. I have complete trust in my vet she is great ... you know how we worry about our furbaby's
