I have Pm'd you about the first one, Furkids and why not a good choice.
I would honestly think about that 1 year old recommended by Betty Anne. I have sold females, already spayed, at about 1 year old for $1500. that is not unreasonable.
I think getting into $2000 and up for a pet is getting too highly priced.

I still haven't heard from Barb regarding shipping, if I don't hear this afternoon, I will be calling her again.

Yes, I really like this yorkie too, Her breeder is Barbara Rowelll.

And for those interested this lady is a show breeder. In fact she bred the sire of my Razzle, Razz's dad is in Europe now, with three Europeans championships under his belt.

It's a small world indeed in the "show" world.

This girl is not spayed yet, that is something I would have to do.

Darlene just hang in there, shipping we can work out somehow direct flight et al. Make sure this is the breeder you want, you know the drill, the health guarantees, the health checks, her philosophy of care, "why" she is selling what she was obviously keeping as a potential breeding bitch. What didn't sort itself out? Coat? Topline, Luxating Patella?. And the more subtle stuff, do you or can you see yourself creating a close connection with this breeder?

Hi thank you for the response this is our first time breeding our dog and yes I want to do it for the right reasons I came across my comment the wrong way and basically I have decided to just be happy with the way she is and the simple fact she is only CKC registered and not AKC registered.Thanks for not ripping into me like others I think that AKC doesn't allow a dog who is purely a pure breed yorkie be able to registered is dumb but it is what it is. Thanks again!

The reason you were ripped in your origional thread was because you were asking for help on how to commit fraud, what else do you expect? Im sorry but YT dosnt support that.
And what exactly do you think are the RIGHT reasons? as I remember you saying you wanted the pups AKC because they would sell for money money...

Thanks Lorraine for your input. The only Canadian breeders I'm familiar with are, Pastoral, Durrer, NicNak, and Squirrel and of course you. But, I figured you living in Canada have a broader range of knowledge of who's who in the zoo.

I understand now that the quality of the pups are determined by the breeders NOT by what papers they have.

It may appear dumb to you. But, it is what the AKC is about a register for pure bred dogs.

Yes, quality is of the most important. However, if breeding stock is not a good representation of the breed with all the health tests performed, and coming from a breeder that is breeding for the improvement of the breed, quality is hard to obtain.

Yes, and even though an AKC registered dog can't guarantee "quality" 100% of the time. It's more certain that any other registry has less chance of the dogs coming from quality lines and have all the quality testing & treatments.
The money, research, time & effort needs to be done prior to breeding.
I know from a buyer perspective that I would only consider an AKC dog if I were buying from a breeder.
I also agree you choose the breeder first and then the dog!
