Some people got upset and showed it with emoticons, but that should not be the reason that you chose not to listen to the advise. I know you think dog breeding is a natural thing done for hundreds of years in the wild, but how many yorkies (or any toy breed) having pups in the wild??Wild dogs dont get to come and talk about their whelping experiences. | |

You've been a member here long enough where you should have been able to read everything in the Breeder section, enough to where you should have been well aware of the type of reaction your post and questions would receive. Frankly, I think that everyone was SUPER nice to you, considering the nature of the subject matter. I envision many sitting on their typing hands in order to NOT be mean. I know it was hard for me to not let you have it, as I am fed up with all of the abusive breeding going on in the world. Yes, it's ABUSIVE to breed any animal without the knowledge and preparedness to increase the chances of successful whelping. It's attitudes like yours that keep the shelters full of unwanted dogs waiting on death row. I hope all goes well for your girl, and that you've arranged for some hands-on mentoring. I just wonder, if your reaction to the good advise you've received here is any indication of your ability to handle stressful situations----I fear for your bitch and her unborn pups Please don't reply to this message, I don't CARE what your thoughts are

| I agree she shouldn't have breed the girl, but the whole point is the dog is going to whelp soon, I don't care about, what she shouldn't or should have done my concern is for the puppies, no whelping is too hard to learn about over the internet, but we all can answer her questions, I hope to God I don't ever get to the point that I wouldn't want to help a pup AKC or mixed.

| I also am willing to help PM me and I will give you my phone number. It is the momma who needs our help and i am not one who can sit back and not offer any assistance or advise when someone asks, does not matter if I approve of them or the situation they got themselves and their mommas into. Bashing does not help at all but that is a regular happening on this forum when someone comes on to ask something silly or waited too long to get information. Advise is better late than never! That is what this forum is for at least I thought that is what this forum is for! Novice breeders need all the help they can get for their mommas to be even when we do not approve. Do you have a good vet? |

Along with the truth, this OP received generous offers of advise & help and she chose to stumble over the truth. Thus my comment of where to go for your replies with sugar on top...

| Would you kindly "quote" were I said that a YT member refused or wouldn't give advice. I was stating a fact, we need to help the puppies. I personally would not like to see any puppy die, if I or someone else could help.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | All TNyorkiemom done was offer her help in PM. I thought was really nice. I do not think what the OP has done is right but I will offer her help. I only care about the pups...mixed or not.. educated or not..She needs help and in 10 days we could have really gave her a good start. It might have made a difference..we will never know now. It is not about the OP to me its about Lilly and the unborn pups. If she wants to call me everyday until she delivers she can and I will never cut her down. I think every pup deserves a chance.

| I am quite sure no one here has or would disagree with the above statement...although you (and others) have implied that some here do. AKC doesn't matter to me, CKC doesn't matter to me, I don't need papers nor do I want them. My Dane could have been registered but I didn't because no matter what any piece of tree pulp says, she is Lucy the Dane...family member. The only reason my first post to her involved that was because I am not a breeder (I ended up on this post via 'new posts') so that is really all I could in good conscious comment on with any sort of knowledge. I also included that my pup is a mutt and I see nothing wrong with mutts....in certain situations. Anyway, this is a moot point since she has pulled the 'good-bye cruel YT' card.
