| Bath mom and all the bedding...you can check the pups and see if there are any fleas..all you can do it remove them..easy way to catch a flea is to dab it with vaseline..watch for tape worms... |

| Pat, At what age can you start bathing pups? Is it like 6 weeks? What types of shampoos should be used at first?

hi, i'm not sure if there are any flea drops for pups that young, but i think it may be a tea tree and fine tooth comb job! with the momma, get a bowl of hot water (Not boiling) with some tea tree essential oil- be liberal with it! every time you run the comb through her coat dab it in the bowl. this will kill the fleas. then bath her in a sensitive shampoo to get the excess off. im not sure that would be good for the pups, but fine tooth comb them and wipe the comb on a peice of kitchen roll dampened by the diluted tea tree. ive never had to deal with this problem with pups, but my cousins dog is a working dog and i have to fde-flea her quite often with this method. i hope this works for them and as said above, watch out for any other parasites and treat the pups as soon as they are old enouh- prevention is better than cure! all the best!

| Coconut oil naturally gets rid of fleas. All you have to do is rub it into their coat a bit. They will smell really good too! |

| I have used Baby Wipes from the beginning with a lazy mom...around 5 to 6 weeks I will bathe them...you can use Baby Shampoo or regular Pantine...I have always used the regular dog shampoo that I use on the adults..a few drops is enough..best wishes.. |

Consider de-worming everyone with "PANACUR-C", and clean , clean, clean ... until you can get some flea meds for the mom ... make sure you run it by the vet before applying anything on mom, pups can also be "wiped" with face cloths with some white vinegar on them, will not kill the fleas, but makes them "go around"... Good luck ! XOXO
