I'm sorry, but if your dogs have worms and they are in your house, then they are leaving eggs in your house. WORM EGGS. Deny it all you want, it doesn't change the facts. No all dogs do not get worms. I have had dogs all my life and they don't all have worms because I don't take them to areas where there are other dogs. And I pam betting that the majority of the people on YT will tell you that their dogs do not have worms. |

If you consider the slight possibility that your thinking might be outdated, you can take measures to stop the cycle. There is no reason why your 2 week old puppies should have worms if you deworm the adults and treat their run. However at this point, you might have to treat your entire house, and wash all of their bedding because they're becoming reinfested. |

Wow! All I can say is WOW! |
Very informative thread. |
I hate giving my dogs chemicals, so I don't routinely deworm. Have you considered that if the dam has fleas, the puppies will have worms? So it may be that your girl doesn't have worms, but if she has fleas, her puppies will have worms. Tapeworms are the most common ally of fleas and one swallowed flea (from biting the fleabite where it itches) will cause intestinal worms. Also, you can use diatomaceous earth to get all these parasites out of your home and it is completely organic and natural. It's cheap too. Diatomaceous earth kills fleas by breaking down their outer shell and drying them out. Fleas can't build up a resistance either. You can also use the earth (sprinkled on food or mixed with water) to naturally deworm your dog. Not puppies though. Until puppies are old enough to venture outside the breeders home, they should not have any worms (or fleas for that matter). If you can't control their environment, you need to change your system or stop breeding. Don't just sit back and say: All dogs have worms. Attack the source and stop throwing poisons on top of the problem! |

your rude and ugly to assume i have worms and my house is worm infested! snobbish attitude throughtout the entire thread! ..because i disagree with you, you want to belittle.. research people who do that... as well as the worms i dont have a worm problem..BUT when i follow the "oh dont put chemicals in the babies" bam i got friggin worms!...i followed the stupid "new" info on here and the end result was my puppies got worms. so yes i will continue to keep my homes and pets worm free but giving them dewomer on the regular..they may not have them at 2 weeks but i ll be darned if they get them period! different creatures and bacterias leave behind the larve and eggs that get licked and transfered HELLO yes im outdated i dont believe in this "new age" crap of "dont use chemicals dont vaccinated to early"...i believe in taking all precautions with my pets... its a fact that all dogs get them...you just have to have already been prepared and supplied them with the means to keep their system clean..thats what i do..i dont have worms..my dogs dont have worms and my house doesnt have worms! |

ALL DOGS DO NOT HAVE WORMS But if you prefer to think that, than to treat the problem, then live with it. But I would not buy a pup form anyone who believes as you do and feeds poison to their infant pups because they refuse to learn. I |

My puppies don't get worms. So that is proof that your statement that "all dogs get worms" is incorrect. |
