| How rude of that other woman to say such a thing to you. If she did not want to hear any comments from anyone about this, why in the world did she even bring it up! Seriously! And I know, if I were a breeder, anything like this I would have been in to see an Emergency Vet immediately. I agree that the dogs that are these puppies parents should be spayed and neutered so they don't have this happen again. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Sounds like the pups had encephalitis...aka fluid on brain. Some pups with open fontanels have this condition...the fluid pressures pushes it out of the open fontanel. It's highly likely the pups died. It's a shame if they suffered needlessly.

| I've found that there are a lot of "uninformed" people at the dog park, and nobody wants advice so I find a way to make my point without giving it. In your case, I would have said something like: "Oh my, that sounds serious! What did her vet say about it?"

| Honestly, I don't know what is wrong with people. My son jokes that if Lucy gets gas, she has to go to the Vet. And these folks had puppies with 'stuff coming out of their head' (I like to torture myself too) and they didn't go to the vet?? Wonder what it would take for them to take their pups to the vet? I mean, if that doesn't do it; then I don't know what would. I promise not to look at this thread again because I just get p/offed! |
