Anyone heard of poshfairytail.com? There are located in Virginia. A friend of mine saw them in her research of breeders in Virginia. The puppies look like the anime characters. The site also mentions looking like Hello Kitty. Just reminds me of that luxpup breeder in Canada.

Wow.....truly one of the worst greeder sites I've ever seen:mad:

Purposely breeding for flat faces and those tiny sizes is bound to bring on health issues.

These dogs don't even look real, I don't get it!
Teacups, 1.5lbs full grown, horrible!

OMG! They are charging $6,000-9,000 for one of these puppies! This is just unbelievable! I also do not see any momma's on the site but there are pictures of the HELLO KITTY faced dads! :eek:

Wow, I can't even begin to imagine all the health problems these dogs have from people breeding this way. Just think of the dental problems alone!! It is just so wrong and such a sad thing to see.

That's what I was thinking - odd she is only showing the dad's. Also, the eyes on some of those pups look "funny".

Like someone else mentioned, purposely breeding for the flatter faces and protruding eyes has the potential to bring out loads of health problems. :mad: Those pups pictured don't even 'look right.' :(

Purposely breeding tiny dogs from tiny parents, "teacups", health agreement only covers life threatening issues with the heart, lungs or liver and will only be 'replaced' with another puppy. :thumbdown

Are we sure they sell puppies? I mean.... look at them, they don't look like normal happy yorkie/maltese babies. I first thought this is one of those places that makes hand made yorkie dolls. "hello kitty face" WTF is that? Breeders like these need to be shut down. Their "tiny treasure" parents should definitely not be used to breed.

I would say they are great at marketing dogs, and know how to appeal to a certain type of customer. The dogs pictured could have possible health problems, for example, I've read that if you can see lots of white around the pupils it could indicate encephalitis, although I'm not even sure it's a real dog.

Flat faces... those are brachycephalic dogs right? Like pugs, French bulldogs, and English bulldogs. I heard or read from somewhere that Yorkies were classified as brachycephalic dogs and those dogs have an array of health problems due to the structure of their heads.

Some breeders seem to think, "If nature allows us to do it, it must be safe." There are many breeds that are in big trouble because their breed clubs have changed the standard due to popular demands, and public whims. Human beings tend to like animals that look like human babies, and it's not weird that we like these things, but we should not support breeders who are just marketing pets as accessories. We should only support breeders who are breeding to improve the breed, not just trying to make the breed prettier, cuter, or more trendy.

I was looking a yorkie rescues and there is one of these poor little guys at a rescue now...not good...I feel so bad for it.

These dogs look sick and fake. I cant find the post by one of our exhibitors about these doll faced dogs. Its not good.

Actually after looking at a MIKI web-site. I do think the dog link I sent is one of those Poshfairy dogs...JMHO

It happens faster if the OP actually places a "live" link in the thread, we click on the link and the website we've clicked automatically learns where their site is linked. However, the OP just gave an address, not a clickable link, and we have to open another window to find the site, so the has no way of knowing where the link was given. Someone "tagged" this thread, and that also allows people to learn which sites mention their names, so here again, this will give the website owners a chance to answer our questions, or pose as a happy customer. There's even "google alerts" and you will be notified if another site mentions a certain name.
