Jasmine is due anyday. I take her back into the vet in the morning to do another xray since the first one didn't show.

She is huge!..lol I am so surprised they didn't show last xray. I am thinking it is his antique machine... I am pretty sure she has a boy and girl by listening to the differnce in heartbeats.

Wow, I didn't realize you could tell their sex by their heartbeats...that's awesome!

They say you can and I am still learning. So far the girls have had faster than the boys. The problem with her everywhere I listen I hear a heartbeat..lol So I am not sure if it is just the same one.

Hi All
Just got back from the vet for day 57 check-up, but apparently I have the only vet who doesn't like to x-ray. He said if it was his dog he wouldn't do it. So now I'm left guessing. I almost feel let down. But he convinced me. Otherwise she is healty, we have about 1-10 days left according to him. Thankfully not this weekend, I have 5 guests coming to stay for 2 days. Argh, they were all there when we mated her too. After this no more guests for awhile.

If you finish reading the WHOLE post, she states she already has 5 week old puppies in the house. STOP ASSuming before you know the whole facts. Some people do breed other dogs in their house as well..

...hey bethany my yorkie and the stud tied on april 23 just for a coupld of seconds so i went back the next day the 24th and they tied longer took my chloe to the vet on friday she was 7wks and did and x-ray and there is 3 pups inside her she had put on 2lbs..sh'e normally 5'6lb's and now is 7'6lb's was the stud bigger then your yorkie cause that would probably mean c-section my stud was only 3.4lb's i mix the puppy food with her regular food and mix a little can in the morning ppl have been giving an egg a day and cottage cheese will try that keep in touch have you done and x-ray that might help and gl

I so agree with you. This is why I choose not to post anymore or let anyone know about my babies from here. No one here ever has anything good to say. Always arguing.

Good luck with your litter. If I can help in any way I will try. I too love my dogs like crazy and keep them all in the family. Its so hard for me to let them go to strangers. My husband says I love them more than I do Him!!!

I have a litter due any day now. I'm very excited and am still learning. I have someone who has more experience than me and she has been very helpful when it comes to asking questions about things that I don't know.

As a matter of fact I showed her my baby on cam the last time she was pregnant. Good Luck everyone.

my vet did an x-ray on my yorkie on fri june11th chloe is 7wks pregnant i wanted an ultrasound but she said she is to far to give me a good count of how many pups r in there..with chloe being so small 5.6lbs and this is her first litter i wanted to be prepared and found out she has 3 pups in her..how much does your yorkie weigh and how much did the stud weigh cause the stud i used is 3.4lbs i was told to always use a stud smaller then the female hopefully everything will go ok let us know how many she has and there still is a lot of nice ppl on here i've must of missed the posts where ppl r arguing yes i wouldn't like that either when it's nice to talk to other yorkie owners and meet new friends let usknow how many an gl

Oh I got over it, no problems! Shayna had her 3 pups on Memorial Day (you can see them in the babies section). She is 9lbs and was bred with a 3lb boy (and that was funny, he had to stand on 4 towels to get her) but so far the babies are looking like they will be in the 6-7lb range (yes I know those are estimates). All is well now with Shayna we had a few hectic days, with slight fever, too much milk and restlessness, but being a first time mom she settled down. She still gets the runs and some gas, but we are working on that also. Babies are great, after 2 weeks only one (the girl) has the eyes open and the boys are fat and happy. Starting to race around more, I have 1 boy who loves to go in circles pretty regularly, can't wait to see what he does when he is older. The whole experience has been wonderful, hectic and only a little nervewhecking, but I'm still enjoying it. I hope you have a wonderful whelping yourself and all those out there still waiting to see those beautiful lil' faces.

Using a smaller stud is a misnomer. It does not control the size of the pups, while they are in utero, the mother does. It is all based on her nutrition and health on how the pups grow while she carries them.
