![]() Exciting! Keep us posted. I'm afraid, Shayna will want to be on my bed too. I keep trying to put her in the whelping box, but she won't stay, it's on the floor and mommyis on the bed. What do you think! Hmmmm!

![]() I think you should let her on your bed, if you don't mind her being there. As long as you have towels or blankets it shouldn't be a problem, she probably will feel safe next to you. Kiwi is very restless now. She keeps getting down off my bed and squatting on the floor, and now she is pacing around my room for no reason. Just pacing back and forth until she decides she wants back up on my bed to lay down. And then a few mins later she gets down again and squats/paces some more. She keeps going into my closet and under my bed so I am trying to block those off. I am so nervous! I haven't noticed any contractions just yet though.

![]() Starting to have a few contractions here. She is still squatting every now and then but now tensing up and raising her head to the ceiling. It's not very consistent but every 10-15 minutes she will get up and walk around and do squats while tensing up. I moved a rubbermaid box to the floor with blankets on it and she is laying in there right now, "sleeping" but she gets up every so often. My nerves are shot! I know I should not wait more than an hour after she starts pushing to call the vet but I'm not sure when to start counting?? I can't tell if she is tensing up because she is pushing or if it is just a contraction. I guess the fact that she is still resting the majority of the time means she is not in hard labor yet, right?

![]() I am having a panic attack! I can't even breathe. Kiwi has been pushing and pushing and nothing is happening. She is yelping and dragging herself around in pain and I think the pup is stuck and just too big to pass. We have a care credit card in case we need an emergency c-section but I am just now finding out that the vet will not let me use it because it's in my husband's name and he is hours away, out of town! I don't know what to do! I wish the vet would work with me and just charge the dang card and let my husband fax an authorization or something, or a form of ID, this is ridiculous!!! I am at a loss

![]() I don't know how to send a PM, she has been pushing hard for over an hour now and she is yelping and dragging her legs on the ground behind her and nothing is happening, I can feel a hard lump in her abdomen where the puppy is and it's not even close to being born. I think it is simply too big and she needs a c section right away. She is in so much pain. But now I am being informed by the emergency vet that I cannot use our credit card because it's in my husband's name (and he is out of town)!! I am at a loss, I have never felt so helpless
