She was a bad breeder because she turned her dogs over to a reputable rescue group? How do you figure that?

What part of being a good breeder do you not understand?

I have NO problem with breeders who do right by their dogs and that includes health testing, having them live in wonderful surroundings, love and attention and research being done before you breed. Dogs should be happy and well adjusted even if they are breeding.

I have gone into some of the worse shelters to pull dogs or hold them when they were tossed away and I have seen piles of dead dogs that people said they "loved them".

I am involved with a breed club and I know what good breeders do who care about their dogs.

it is extremely natural for them not to always be "best buddies" i cant see where someone who has been so involved would not see that

i have never met to adult woman that live together that have squabbled around hormonal times..its nature..it happens and anyone that tells you different either keeps them separated at all times, specifically heats and pregnancies, or doenst have multiple females

males will also squabble over a in heat female..thats natural...heck i knew that stuff long before i started studing yorkies

You're right, it is my opinion. :) I just don't understand it, that's all. I don't understand why anyone would buy a dog without it having had health tests performed and I can't understand why any breeder would settle for breeding dogs just to sell them without doing everything they can to ensure they are breeding healthy dogs free from illness and genetic defect. But that's just me. It certainly isn't the first thing I've ever encountered that I don't understand. :p

i have seen females get along perfect for years with pregnancy and heats and then one day they get into...i dont see wheres that an aggression issues at all...

hell i snap on people sometimes doesnt mean i have aggression issues or that my kids will...i know they arent people but i think its silly to not think they will never disagree and always get along as best buddies

He is a great breeder, because he cares for his dogs and puppies very much. He takes care of them on a personal level! He gives any information that you need on them, and willingly goes the extra mile. His dogs are not just in a building somewhere, that he checks in once in a while. He has a hands on with them at all times! You would be lucky to get one of his puppies!!!
With that being said, I have asked administation to close this thread, because it has become mean & nasty.

i am involved with the training and believe i am knowledgable in the breed
i offer breeder support..so even when the puppy leaves i will help with any concerns or problems that arrise

parents on site..all friendly and loving
gee im not doing too bad on that list...just something i choose not to do
i feed good food, that me and vet have chosen together
im a stay at home mom so i am always here with them
i dont even allow visitors so no need to wash hands...no visitors until they puppies have been vaccinated then i use hand santizer
keep my puppies with mom
raised with an active lively family
i match up puppies to customers
dont sell to impulse buyers...its planned out and prepared from birth almost
i interview and check references
careful of homes with children
i dont check income thats rude..if they can afford a yorkie most people are alright to care for it
my contract states these are indoor pets and i am persistent on that but never had a issue on it
my contract explains the time in adjusting, training and behaviors

so yeah im on the first i just dont show, test or check peoples income taxes
how can you be involved in rescue but still breed? don't you see the conflict in that?

Okay read my fingers. I told you before and I am going to tell you again. I have been very involved with the Biewers and a Biewer Club and I fully endorse good breeders. You sir have not proven to me you are a good breeder because you are going to put puppies into this home. I also don't believe you are bettering the breed because I do not believe you have done that much research in these dogs or the people you are selling dogs to...

I have nothing against the Parti's and in fact I consider a couple of Parti breeders my friends..

Well I guess we saw a few true colors come out in this thread. Wow, I hope future puppy buyers know who "not to buy from" with the lack of caring from a few "breeders" here. God bless those poor yorkies involved in this thread.

Please - you don't have a clue what makes a good breeder...He sold you a puppy and you are just going to continue down this road. He wouldn't have them in another building in AZ..he would have to pay for air conditioning.

You want to make $$$ of of these white Yorkies and I bet you have no clue about their background and where Parti's came from...

I would be lucky..what a laugh...if I was going to get a real Parti it certainly would not be from him and I would not want a golden.
