Since you are the board look up artist, can you tell me what I said? How many total posts on that thread, and what was the consensus? Was my question, if I asked one, answered? I will not waste my time looking it up, so enlighten us. You really are getting quite emotional and sensitive now. So, dogs do have IQ's. I knew that. You also do not need to be a Neurolsurgeon to see that ......well, I will just let it go!

Alright, time to close this one down. I would not mind a Parti colored Yorkie as long as it was healthy, and for $3000 it came from a line of Champions, was tested, guaranteed, and came with a diamond Studded collar, and Breeding right! Not that I am a breeder, but for that price, he must be stud worthy.

I appreciate the other reply as far as pricing. Reputable Breeder is the key, bit for some of the prices, they had better come with a diamond studded Collar and Rolex.

the price of traditional colored yorkes varies a great deal also. Research the breeder first, then look at their dogs.

The reason the partis are higher in price is because of supply and demand. Recently the demand decreased due to the economy and the sipply increased because there are a lot more breeders. So prices are about half what they used to be.

Thanks Jeanie. I do recall seeing prices of 6-7,000 and I thought they were a rare breed. Did not mean to get a few so riled up. I will continue to ask questions, and if a [erson can't handle it, put me on ignore. I can live with that!

They can't come from a long line of champions becaue they cannot be shown AKC. However the founding stud was, Ch Nikkos Rolls Royce Ashley. Other than that everythng else is doable.

Some peoople drive chevys some people drive Caddis. Both vehicles will get you where you want to go, but some people just prefer caddis.

Many people have turned to breeding Parti's because they have complained that in their local communities they can't get over $350.00 for a Yorkie, so if they breed Partis, they can make much more than that, and sell over the internet. The thing to remember about Parti's is that two Parti's can only produce Parti's, they cannot produce a standard yorkie, so in the future, the Parti many be the only yorkie anyone can find, and I would hate that to happen.

The chances of that happening are slim to none. Those who love the traditional look will always breed for that look and there will always be people who love that look.

There is absolutely NO reason in the world that there cannot be more than one color for yorkies. Many breeds have multiple color categories, and they all coexist peacefully.

If the YTCA is really concerned, they would embrace the colors varieties and set the standards for them, thereby having complete control. I feel it is only a matter of time before they get someone in there that has figured that out.

I think the YTCA is concerned with protecting the breed, not giving the breed more variety.
