There is absolutely NO reason in the world that there cannot be more than one color for yorkies. Many breeds have multiple color categories, and they all coexist peacefully.
If the YTCA is really concerned, they would embrace the colors varieties and set the standards for them, thereby having complete control. I feel it is only a matter of time before they get someone in there that has figured that out. |
I think the YTCA is concerned with protecting the breed, not giving the breed more variety.
