				 | Breeding a 2 lb pup My mom bought 2 female pups from Jeff Dane last year and both are just grand! When my mom bought them she said Jeff Dane told her he only places pups in homes as pets. He also said he did not want my mom to breed any of the girls, but if she was going to breed them which he said he could not her from doing to just make sure the girls were over 4 lbs and to use a tiny stud. My mom didn't want to breed them, but she asked that question before she bought them. Both are now spayed. Virginia |

				 | yorkiepup.com So, what was wrong with your pup? Maybe you let him get low blood sugar? Hummmmmm? So now why is that the breeders fault?

				 | Interesting I've been following this thread trying to keep my mouth shut. I do have to say this is an ODD post from a Newbie in Texas. Coming to the defense of this breeder with a bad rap. Interesting....!! If it smells like a rat and looks like a rat wellllllllllll...it must be a rat...that's all I have to say about JD. Quote:

				 | I don't think any of us intentionally "let" our babies get low blood sugar. I believe it happens ALOT with tiny tiny puppies. I'm sure she didn't "let" her puppy get that way by any fault of her own. That cannot be faulted towards a breeder if the puppy buyer had a good idea that the breeder was really pushing tines and breeding for them only. However, when you have breeders ONLY breeding for tiny tiny puppies you are going to most likely see hypoglycemia alot in their puppies. They are aware of this if they know anything about puppies. Some just don't care. Is another good example of why it's not a good thing to only strive to produce tinies, tea cups, micro minies, pocket purses, ohhhh gosh, this list goes on and on. I will use the word "tiny" to describe a very small yorkie. I don't know of any other way, it's just using an adjective to describe something, and some breeders do get tiny puppies without even trying. I just don't think yorkies look like a tea cup, or should sit in a teacup for pictures to promote it's sale. |

				 | Bait? I just want to understand how everyone's opinions have become fact? Not one person here has proven anything. Google searchs, year old postings with ghost writers. To many pups? To small in size? Unreal! Toni makes her new pup sick with low blood sugar and now its Jeff Dane's fault. I bet she never even called him and said she had a problem. I feel sorry for her new Yorkie pup named Dollar, going to such a person that does not know the warning signs of low blood sugar.
