Personally, if I were looking for a puppy I would not consider this breeder for the following reasons: -advertises as teacups, micro mini, etc.. :thumbdown:thumbdown - breeds mixes in addition to Yorkies & Biewers (shorkies, chorkies, Morkies, shiihpoo, yorkiepoos, porkies) Where are the pics of the parents, how many are there??? - mentions that puppies can leave at 8 weeks! :thumbdown "We consistantly try to improve the standard of the already wonderful breed the Yorkshire Terrier." This is a quote on the website of this breeder. I guess I have a different idea of what I would consider improving the standard of the breed! |
SweetYorkieKisses Mel, It looks like you have run afoul of the elitist Yorkie clique, who think they are superior to anyone breeding mixes - somehow confusing maintaining breeding standards with righteous behavior. There will always be a market for both high-end purebred with controlled lines and cheaper mixes for people who want a pet. Some of the best tempered breeds are mixes. As a parent looking for a loving pet for the kids, I would go to you and not the betterment of the breed folks. They are welcome to stay in their chickeny flock around their RV's at the dog show and cluck cluck about the rest of us. Hang in there sis. |

My advice is instead of supporting breeders that breed mixed breeds for profit as that is what they are doing when breeding for mutts instead go to a rescue or shelter and adopt a homeless baby instead.... Oh, but wait, they can't do that because "Some Breeders" will go to the rescues and get the little ones, that good honest private home adoptions could be done on, and they will sell them for a profit. $100-$2000 |
