I have been trying for three days and my female will not lower for the smaller male to penetrate . He is 2 inches shorter. She has been in the bleeding stage of heat for 12 days. what can I do???

Something he can stand on those 2 inches. I think the most fertile days are 10-14 you still have 2 more days.

Hi Crickett62,

This happened with my male as well, and I just held the female so that her head was in the crook of my elbow, and I lowered her down so my male could get to her. They both ended up on my lap and I had another person helping to hold the dogs so they would not get hurt.
