| Two little girls and one little boy delivered on Wednesday... The Dam is Lady Ana... I'm super proud of her, she is really a perfect little mom! I'll post pics soon.. http://www.southeasttexasyorkies.com I always cut my girls' coats way back, so I hated to have to clip all that beautiful hair... | My Bonnie had a litter of 6 Feb. 13. I was surprised, to say the least. Bonnie's (non-pregnant) weight is 5 1/2 pounds and she wasn't really that big with this litter. I really thought she was done after the fourth one and that the knot I felt was just her uterus...but they kept coming .Anyway, she wound up with 5 girls and 1 boy, all weighing between 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 ounces at birth. She's doing a great job with them and is eating well. The pups are all gaining nicely and have good vigor. They had their tails docked Thursday and all did well with that. Now if I can just keep Bonnie eating well enough to keep the milk factory running.....(fingers crossed)

| Thanks, Jeanie. Believe me, I'm keenly aware of the demands these babies are placing on her. Honestly, I've been a little scared for her with this many babies ever since they were born. So far, though, everything's going well. She eats like she's on a mission and the babies are plumping out nicely.

| Tell her to hurry up or she'll be in the March thread . Is she giving you any signs yet? The waiting is awful. I get more nervous than my girls do. Bonnie did so well having her pups...all 6 in 1 1/2 hours. It was an early evening whelp but i didn't get much sleep. I stayed up with her and the babies until 4 in the morning and then fell asleep beside them. There were so many and they were so tiny....I just couldn't relax about it. She ate well, even right after having the babies. I fed her before I went to sleep and she was ravenous. It was the same way Sunday and Monday, too. Then, on Tuesday, she started throwing up everything she ate and then wouldn't eat. I had to syringe some goat's milk w/ karo into her so she wouldn't get weak. She held that down so I went and got her some baby food and some Cesar food. I fed her small meals every couple of hours with that. That worked pretty well and I was able to increase the amount some until I got her up to a larger portion. I'm still feeding her smaller meals than she wants, but giving it to her about every 3 hours. Also, she's on calcium supplement and I'm giving her Proviable, a probiotic. The last couple of days she's been eating some boiled chicken, too, and she's taken a liking to Wellness Super 5 so is eating pretty good overall. I hope I can get the babies eating something after they get their legs under them to help take some of the load off Bonnie. So, far, though, she has plenty of milk and is doing well. She could have stopped at 4 pups, though. She's got her Daddy worried

The waiting is worse than when I was pregnant with my own kids. I don't sleep well cause I am listening for every little sound. I have a baby monitor so i can sleep in my own bed. When I have newborns I am up ever two hours, cause every time one cries I get up to check on them and to make sure the smallest ones are not getting pushed off the nipple. Are you able to stay home with them, or do you have to go to work?

They were born on Feb 11th, today blondie weights 14.8 oz ( we still don't have a name for the blonde one but we just call him blondie until we decide on a name.) and Elvis weights 14 oz. They have been gaining almost an oz a day, they seem to be growing so fast, is this normal?

| I'm home all the time so I'm able to devote as much time as necessary to them. I really don't see how I could do it otherwise.
