Anyway, she wound up with 5 girls and 1 boy, all weighing between 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 ounces at birth. She's doing a great job with them and is eating well. The pups are all gaining nicely and have good vigor. They had their tails docked Thursday and all did well with that.
Now if I can just keep Bonnie eating well enough to keep the milk factory running.....(fingers crossed) |
Wow that is a big litter. Congratulations. I would start supplementing with some baby rice cereal and goats milk at three weeks to keep her from developing eclampsia.
