Does anyone know of any Parti/ Parti carrier breeder in Maine or New Hampshire

I personally could not care less what the YTCA does. I don't want any part of it. I want to be able to breed my dogs with health being the first priority and conformation coming in about 3rd or 4th on the list.

Did the two woman only care about their dogs being registered with AKC and not showing? Who knows what discussions took place. How long was the process? Where are the letters of documentation on the Parti's with the AKC?

You do need to consider conformation...it is part of the breeding process (the bitches size, width etc) and needs to be considered if you are breeding. I have never heard any of you talk about the gene that created this in the Parti's, why not. Do you believe it is a piebald recessive gene or a Irish Spotting gene or both?...The Parti is just a name...How often did the two ladies breed back to Yorkies or are they only breeding Parti to Parti now? Is this all you ladies are going to do?

The Parti's and the Biewers have not been in the lines forever...where ever did you get that idea?

Look, all of this went down in 1999 for the Parti's..maybe one day the Parti's can go into the showring...who knows...but if you ladies do not history of what really happened then 100 years from now everyone will be searching for the truth. The two woman are still alive so go get their side of the story and I hope it is written down by one of them. This is the problem with the Biewers...it is all based on here say and other garbage.

If you care about this breed and their betterment then digging for the truth is important.

All I can say is WOW!!! It seems that some are going way overboard LOL...those of us that breed to the yorkie standard "blue and gold" will not agree with breeding the Parti's plain and simple. I see it my way and you see it your way nothing is going to change my mind if you are not breeding to what the standard calls for. Until the YTCA and AKC change the standard to allow Parti's to show and it becomes a varitey then I will not agree to breeding outside the standard which is what any breeder should be doing and that is breeding to the standard for the betterment of the breed and YES that includes a healthy dog PERIOD!

Because I have found in the breeding world everything is black and white. I don't believe this and while I can appreciate the Yorkie Standard I think there is a lot more to the story of the Biewers and the Parti's. I think it scares a lot of people and they refuse to discuss anything in regards to this. I have asked many times why other AKC breeds accept the Parti coloring (piebald recessive) but the Yorkie world does not. I have seen people quote so much mis-information it is not funny. It is just like the Biewer Terrier people who used to say their dogs were Biewer Yorkies but found out they would not get to AKC with this idea so they did a 180 and now fool many people into believing this is a new breed. Bunk!..Sorry that is another discussion.

I just think people dig in their heels (for whatever reason) and aren't open to new thoughts.

But, it is no secret most showbreeders on YT only believe in the one standard so I don't know why it has to be repeated over and over again..I realize everyone is passionate about their position but so are the Parti breeders and the Biewer breeders. Some of these breeders are great breeders and some are not.

There is only "ONE" standard period and when that changes then I will breed to what the standard shall say if it's for the betterment of the breed. There are rules in life and one must follow them until they are changed. If you know you are speeding then you know one day you'll get a ticket. Until the speed limit changes you are doing wrong. It's all black and white. If you rob a bank you know it's wrong so why do it? Rules are made for a reason so until the "rules" in the "standard" change, why can't the rules just be followed? Can't be any easier than that

I understand what you're saying. But, until the standard changes, and if and when it includes Parti's or off colored, it's still the standard. I don't see it changing anytime soon since the DQ was just added to keep the off colored out of the ring.

Ok let me throw this into the mix LOL...I guess it's ok to breed a yorkie to a min pin? You see when you aren't breeding to the breed standard whether you are breeding a parti or breeding a yorkie to a min pin it's wrong plain and simple until the standard changes. I see things in black and white and I try and follow "ALL" rules the best I can whether it be in the yorkie fancy or life in general.
