They always talke the goats milk, I think they like the Karo in it.

I've been following your other thread for a few days, and just wanted to jump in and let you know I'm praying for a safe delivery & healthy puppies.

No I do not think that is normal. Are they stiff straight out? Does she stiffen up and then it goes away?

Is there a possibility that she is eclampsic? Now if she's stiff because she's pain that's one thing. But, if she's stiff because her legs won't bend, possibly eclampsia and she'll have to be taken into the vet.

its just her left leg...her right oe she will bring in but the other one stays straight...ugh

Sounds like she's going with the contractions. But, if you're feeling unsure, get her in. Go with your gut.

If you are unsure put her in the car now in a basket with blankets.. that way you will be in the office when they open the door.

Is it still stiff? Can you help her stand? She is still panting heavy?

Sending prayers her way, I feel so bad for this owner and this dog.. it will be a big relief when those puppies finally get here..

I do too... I wish we could do more..


I thought about doing a web cam my next litter so I can have another breeder watch so I can get better feedback.. I know I am a little crazy..haha I just worry so much.

no your NOT, I thought about that TOO... hey I even send my son little videos to his cell phone if he is out , so he can answer my questions...LOL he is going to divorce me as his mother if i keep it up...:D

You guys are nuts....I'd want no one to watch me go through my keystone antics when I'm whelping a litter.....Between crying when my girl has a contraction and running around....., I'd probably title it "What Not To Do When You're Whelping a Litter"

It appears this young lady has taken her girl to the vet.

oh Mary I hope so and I hope they WILL do something for her dog this time.. I am so super worry about all this, I got up 3 times last night to check on chanel and had to turn on the laptop to check.. crazy...

Hi, I am not a breeder but this sure does have my attention, like you I was up several times checking to see if there were puppie's !! I was worried about momma dog :)

I give ice cream. Read that on a website. It helps to cool them down.

I use to do that too, but my Chanel turned the ice cream down and I had to eat it...:D:D she did take the goats milk recipie from Mary, so i am using that from now on...LOL but I will keep buying the bryers for ME...LOL hey I needed the push too...I spent 2 night with 3 hours sleep with this specific puppy watch...LOL

I would be taking her to the vet by now. I'm no professional but it sounds to me like a puppy is stuck.

Pour a little Kaluah over it. :D After the whelping is done of course.

She must be gone to the vet. Hope all turns out OK.

Hey Yorkiemomma , Sassy is in Labor too. Got to go blow dry my hair in case we must go to the vet. Good Luck, Sassy was shivering a bit and pee and little diarea and started digging. I feel a pup side ways though, unless the pup is turning around. I am not sure, It worries me abit. I will Keep you updated.:animal36

Oh , your only as old as you feel ! :p

I love bringing these little miracles into the world. They are such a blessing!

Hopefully she has her girl at the vet and things will be ok.
