I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm not a breeder, just a pet owner, but I think it's important for everyone who has pets to develop a phone relationship with their vet and his staff; this is the sort of question that a medical professional can help with. Also, before making a decision, it's important to inform them if the puppy has always had big testicles, or this was something that happened suddenly. Good luck, is everything else normal?

Yorkie Yakker | They have always been bigger than the other males testicles i would say that i noticed them when he was about a week old and they have grown. I just didn't know if this was normalfor some puppies or not because this is my first yorkie litter. |

| I've never had a litter either but if I felt something was not quite right I would get to the vet. Better safe than sorry. Good luck and congratulations on your litter. Why worry about something when talking to the vet may just make you feel better and enjoy your puppy without the worry. |

| Wow, I can't believe he had testicles at a week old. That seems really young to me, as does 3 weeks! My puppy is 17 weeks and I'm still waiting for his to drop. I was a little bit concerned but now I'm really worried. Could it be a hernia?

Call your vets, they must have a technician available to talk to you,and she should pass all the info to your vet , who hopefully will either call back to talk to you further or have the technician give you further instructions on what to do. My vet usually calls me on the end of his day if it is not an emmergency. "A silly" question is the one that was never asked! Sounds weird... i would go ahead and bring him to the vets anyways. I can hardly feel my boys testicles at 8 .. 12 weeks??? XOXO
