on the news about it? Does anyone no where it can be viewed? TY

Thank You Mardelin....I went to the site and read the story.
Sounds terrible. I had recently been to this "kennel" and was
not happy at the things I saw!!! I mentioned to one of my
friends that I had been there (moon valley) and she freaked
and told me this was a breeder that was on this new and it
was all bad. Does anyone know of a GOOD breeder in the
Knoxville area, I have no problem driving say an hour or
so to get a good Yorkie Pup.

It would appear to me they are more interested in bashing this breeder...Who would sign up with the name they used if all you wanted to do was to find a puppy?

Gave this person the benefit of the doubt and provided them with a couple of breeders in the TN area.

I don't know any first hand information about Moon Valley Kennels.....so, unless I do, there will be no recommendations or bashing from me.

been to a terrible breeder...wrong reason, wrong place. I need to change my
user name and redirect my energy. How can I change my YT name?

I would contact Admin to see if that is possible.....

If not it can't be done, he'll most likely ask you to close your account and reestablish a new one.

The 2 breeders I provided to you, I highly recommend. Know both of them personally and I highly recommend them.

Does it have anything to do with the Don Dare report on the news?

Does anyone know if Moon Valley Kennels is still in business I heard they sold out to Grayson Kennels when you go to there link www.moonvalleykennels.com it takes you to Grayson Kennels website. I had heard that Betty was going to retire, I guess she finally did. I found another Yorkie breeder close by so I guess I will go there to see what they have.

This is Steven from Graysons Kennels, we did not purchase moon valley kennel or
moon valley terriers what ever name she is currently going by. Let me make this very
clear, we are NOT connected to moon valley in any form or fashion period. We here
at Graysons Kennels have a good and valued reputation. We are a small kennel and will remain small, we have no desire to ever reach the numbers that are listed on here in regards to moon valley yorkies and betty womack. We do know of moon valley and there owner and have seen the news reports. This is a kennel and owner we do not care to be in contact with or connected to EVER. Thank You, Hope Everyones Furbabiies are well.

Okay everyone, this has gone on for way too long. For the past few months, I've been keeping track of all the garbage that Steven's been posting about us, he's been sending us nasty emails and he's been buying up as many domains related to us as possible. I've been holding my tongue and have been trying to ignore all the lies, but this is it.

First of all -- check out the WhoIS Information for all these domains. They belong to Graysons Kennels (Steven Potter). He owns 18 domains in all. These are only the ones I know about pertaining to us. Who knows what other domains he owns. All except for the bettwomack.com redirects back to his website. For those of you who don't know about webdesign, this is a very easy thing to do. (We do the same thing with our website - if you go to MoonValleyKennel.com or AYorkieIsForever.com, it will redirect to MoonValleyYorkies.com)

Steven and my mom were "friends" for years, and recently had a falling out in November 09. Of course, Steven is a local competitor, and his kennel is about 45 minutes away from us. We have largely chosen to ignore his antics partially because this whole ordeal is extremely childish, and because of his past, we are a little afraid of what he could do. Steven is a convicted felon - he served 5 years of a 12 year sentence in Illinois for armed robbery. (If anyone would a copy of his background check, I'll be more than happy to email it to you.) I would sort of rather leave him alone and let him do what he wants, than any other possible alternative. My family believes he is dangerous.

A lot of Steven says is are also all lies - we have dogs in our kennel from Steven, and Steven has dogs in his kennel from us. Like I said, he and my mom used to be friends and they had a partnership. He is making up new email addresses, and emailing us anonymously, and is making up new YT usernames so he can make malicious posts about us. If the board moderator would request the server log he would see that these names he's making up all the share the same IP address. (Come on people, 1 post per username, created Feb. 2010? Be smart.)

This person who posted this saw Steven's booth at the flea market. He lied in his post saying that he screens each 'client' of his and the puppies in the window were his personal pets, and that he left because he felt people viewed his flea market store as bad. Actually, he was selling puppies at the market for 2-3 years left and right, and he left the flea market because he was kicked out for starting drama with the flea market owner and other puppy sellers at the flea market. He really did have a nice booth, and it was inside, not outside with the other breeders. But the other things he said were not true.

I just ask that people make their own opinion instead of letting Steven feed you his lines of bull crap. He is going to try everything he can to get under our skin, steal as much business as possible from us and ruin our reputation. Fortunately for us, posting a couple of false comments on YT won't ruin us as much as he wished it would. I don't want to reciprocate the maliciousness that Steven is doing to us. We are bigger than that, and we don't spend every waking hour trying to think of new ways to hurt him. That is what Steven does.

Its sad that people bring their quabbles to YT.

I know it is tough to post on some threads but we need more people standing up and saying enough is enough in regards to volume breeders, greeders, byb's and people making a living off of selling dogs.

Sure they are seem nice and have nice websites but behind the pretty curtains is a lot of animals dying for them and the taxpayer is picking up the tab. Hmmm reminds me of Washington...hmmm

Hi guys this is Susan I own four Yorkies! Three came from Moon Valley Kennels. I am a friend of Betty's and became her friend after visiting the Kennel prior to purchasing my secoond yorkie. She spent a very long time on the phone trying to help me with some issues with my first Yorkie, which was not from her Kennel!!! Betty is a wonderful person and loves her Babies at the kennel. She is very honest and trustworthy and I can't stand to see her upset or hurt by the untruths that certain people want to post out of jealousy or greed or both!!! My daughter has a learning disability and Betty has helped her to express herself more clearly through those wonderful dogs at her kennel. Betty is kind and patient and so caring to everyone she meets! My daughter begs to go to see Miss Betty!! I never knew that these dogs would also allow me to make a great new friend. The kennel is sooo clean I could eat off the floor!( I am extremely picky about the hygiene since I am a nurse) I love to go and hold puppies and Momma's and also the father of my 2 boys Johnny. The most beautiful and wonderful boy yorkie you will ever see! This is a wonderful Christian family who do not deserve the terror being inflicted on them. Shame on the person from the nearby kennel who obviuosly has nothing better to do than try to destroy another's reputation! I suggest you get a life, join the YMCA , a craft class, yoga or visit a therapist and leave Betty alone! I am a very good judge of character and have not lived here all my life and am very objective and know she is not deserving of all of this. The only Betty deserves is a special place in heaven for all the good things she does. P.S. When I take my Yorkies to visit Betty they go crazy when they figure out we are going to the kennel, they hardly can contain themselves. You should see how they love her! Does that sound like a bad breeder to you!!??? I dont think so!

No animals dying at this kennel! This is a wonderful place and my child who has a disability has learned to better communicate with the world through yorkies and Betty's love for those dogs! i am a nurse i am super picky and she is a wonderful person! It is really a shame that someone who is obviuosly not dealing with a full deck can set out and try to destroy an very nice person! Thats not how i would treat anyone!
