The Nutri-cal I have is for puppies, if that makes any difference. Were do I get the Nutri-drops??? I have not seen them in Petco or Petsmart, Is it by RX?

I am sorry for the loss of one little girl but happy to read Momma and
second baby are doing well.
Congratulations. I hope mom's milk comes in soon and baby will
nurse with no problems. Please keep us posted on her progress.
Hope Mom recovery from her C-section is swift.

Nutri-cal is for older puppies but not for newborns. The Nutri-drops you have to get from a vet or order them from Revival or some other pet supply company. I am not sure if they sell them at Pet Stores.

Sorry, you loss one of the babies.
But gald to hear mom and the other babiy is doing OK.

Nutri Drops is faster absorbing....and can be used for your mom and pup....just rub a couple of drops into pups gums.

You can also give mom whelping pudding to assist in bringing in her milk.

So, sorry you live about an hour from me....if you were closer, I could bring over supplies.

Izzie's milk is in and the baby now weighs 4.75oz. she is 2 days old today. I made an appt have her tail docked and dewclaws removed today, do you think I should wait anotherday and do it at 3days old. Since there is a question if she was a preemie I just don't want to take any chances.

It would be fine to do it on the 4th or 5th day. If all is well, I always do mine on the 4th day. I would definitely wait.

I meant to add, I am glad momma's milk is in. It sounds like baby is doing well.

I would wait until the 5th day....Two days old is a bit young. Usually done between 3 and 5th day. I attempt to wait until the pup is about 7 oz.
