| hi everyone i know we arent having puppies now but i thought i would ask a question since a lot of the breeders are on this thread... gidget either absorbed her babies or had a false pregnancy the vet told me to give her stuffed animals but she just ignored them and she seems really sad...laying in the bed all day...usually in the morning i can say "outside" and she is sliding in to first place in front of the back door...now im carrying her to the back door and she goes out, comes back in and lays down....she is a little barky today though anything i can do to perk her up? |

| I would just give her lots of love, treats and personal attention. I think it's hard on them like it would be for us. I would also keep an eye on her and make sure that she is eating and drinking water. You might want to give her a little bit of nutri-cal as well.

Sorry to hear about Gidget. We went through this with Tayah the first time she was bred. Vet saw one on ultrasound and then nothing on x-ray. It did not seem to bother Tayah. That was about the only thing that I noticed with Tayah. She wanted to be around me all the time. Other than that she did not even try adopting a stuffed animal. Recently Tayah had a singleton pup and lost him. That was when she adopted our little Jazzy. I would give Gidget lots of attention. If she was pregnant she needs time for her hormones to get back to normal.

I have a feeling with Tayah that the vet was wrong about the ultrasound. Tayah did not even gain weight or have milk.

| Well Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Miss Sassy lay next to me in bed last night I could feel the pups still rolling around by this morning the one had moved all the way to be the first born. The pup is right there. So its so close. Her temp was 99.1 and she ate, so its either Black Friday which I will call in to work. Or friday night which will be day 63-64. I just pray it goes smooth since it is her first litter. I will keep you all updated. |

| Sassy ate this morning, her temp is now 99.2. I believe the second breeding was the day that got her, due to the fact that this is now day 64 of the first breeding and day 62 of the second breeding. She was breed Sep. 26 and Sep. 28. She just lays around, and I did still feel pups kicking this morning so its the waiting game now. Sunday I feel will be the day but ya never know. I will keep you updated.
