| The pain medication that they gave her makes her sick. We have to take her into the vets this afternoon to remove the IV cath. My husband is taking her and the babies and will explain how the medication is making her throw up. Hopefully, they can give her something else. The babies are just as happy as they can be. They both gained .02 oz over night. She's more alert today is taking very good care of them. She also started eating again, which is making me very happy. Thanks again everyone. Now if I can just get throw the dew claws then I will be alright. Thank goodness that I don't have to do the tails on Shih-tzu's. |

| Sammie's follow up visit with the vet was great. The babies have gained 0.8 oz each. I can't believe how fat they are getting. I guess that happens when you don't have a large litter. Anyway, the doctor said to stop giving her the medication since she doesn't seem to be in pain. She's a lot better without it. Babies are eating and sleeping and eating and sleeping. I know that they are going to hate me on Thursday when I do the dew claws. Does anyone have any suggestions besides the cuticle scissors and the clotisol? |
