Questions-newborn puppies

Bella had 5 puppies June 30. We were advised to give her a calcium supplement and scramble her an egg every morning and offer her cottage cheese. I tried adding Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul wet dog food to the dry food but everytime it gave her diaherra. I did give her Esbilac mixed with her food the first week per the vet because she was feeding 5 pups. She did start wandering the house visiting with the family after a couple days but not for long periods of time. The puppies will be 2 weeks on tuesday and she isnt in the box nearly as long as she was last week. She is in an xpen with her whelping box. During the day we leave the x pen open while we are home so she can go in and out. Everyday she spends less time in the box but the pups are well fed! Their weights increase steadily. She is in our sight at all times, generally she lays just outside the whelping box on her bed. At night she sleeps in the whelping box with the puppies.
The puppies dont cry much, except after they had their tails done. I think I finally started sleeping good when the puppies were a week old.
There is nothing sweeter than puppies!!!

PS Bella moved around in the box alot too. The puppies were sucking so hard they left "hickeys" on her breasts. They also scratched her so we clipped their nails.
