| Then temperatures can go up and down, depending on if they have eaten and their activity level. Just be patient. I have never been able to totally depend on the temperature. It varies from female to female. I know the wait is so frustrating but she could have them anytime or you could have several more days to go or longer. |

| Thank you so much for your reassuring words, you are right the wait is frustrating. I will try to be patient. I have really enjoyed this experience but am not sure I will do it again. I have sat on pins and needles and worried about her for the past 58 days, but of course after I had my first son I swore I would never do it again either (which I did) |

| Hi Emma Lee, My Sadie had her pups Saturday morning (July 4th). Her temp went up and down between 99.2 and 100.1 for about 5 days. I finally called the vet on Wednesday and she said when it gets below 99, then its getting close. Friday at noon it was 97.8 so I KNEW we were close. Still, labor didn't start until Saturday morning at 6A - a full 18 hrs later. Just watch her - she'll let you know. I actually slept on the couch on Friday night next to her whelping box. She layed right on my belly all night until the first contraction. I hope she goes all the way to 63 days........they need all the 'cooking' time they can get inside mama. Plus, as excited as you are for the babies to come - once they're out is when the 'worrying' begins. We had 4 live births but lost 2 within the first 5 hours. So sad!!! Best of luck. |

| The anticipation is a killer huh??? I totally understand where you are at!! I watched every little thing Bella did wondering is this a sign??? Bella had her pups last week and her temp did go up and then drop. She made it VERY obvious to our family that something was up with her. She slept ALL day Monday and would not eat even her favorite treat. When I came home that Monday afternoon she ran to me and tried to hide under my arms. Monday night she took her baby "Ducky" to her whelping box and "protected" Ducky. For us it was very obvious labor was starting and she had the pups in the middle of the night!!! I hope all goes well for your girl!!

| I'm so excited for you. You said maybe Emma and Heav'ne will have them together. Heav'ne has been nesting and digging all day. Yesterday her temp was 98.1 then went up to 99.4 and now it has been 98.0 since 6am. I think her time is very close. I hopes she can make until her xray tomorrow but the way things look I'm not to sure. Let's keep each other posted. Good luck!!!!!! |

| Just thought I would update, Emma made it through the night with no puppies but this morning she has started acting weird I walked over to my neighbors and she went crazy she started crying and barking when I came back she was shaking like crazy so I sat down on the couch with her and she started digging and licking she only did that for a few minutes and hasn't done it since. Her Temp is 99.1 this morning so I just don't know. I'm supposed to go out to lunch with a friend for my birthday but I am so afraid to leave her even though my neighbor is going to sit with her. |

| That is how Bella acted before she went into labor. She did not want me anywhere but with her 24/7. I also suggest you reschedule your lunch and just be with your girl. She is probably scared and nervous herself. Good Luck! I keep checking in to see the puppy announcement! I hope you have a safe whelp!

| Definately reschedule your lunch, you want nothing to stress her out and delay her time. I usually don't schedule anything from a week before the first due date through the time the pups are 4 weeks old. Their first week is the cruicial time.....

| I think Emma is well on her way. Heav'ne temp went up to 100.6 this afternoon after being 98.0 this morning. She did have her xray and it showed three pups. The vet thinks she will go between today and tomorrow. She has stopped eating and she is panting a little. |
