Also, just an update...Lucky went into surgery this morning and the vet just called and he is now out of surgery. The surgery seemed to go pretty smoothly. He was supposed to be picked up at 3:00 today, but the vet would like him to stay in the office a bit longer so he can be monitored. We are going to call back at 4:00 and they'll let us know if we can pick him up today or if he'll have to spend the night.

Glad little Lucky's surgery went well and I pray that he has a quick and smooth recovery. I am very glad to hear this all worked out. When I read the other thread, I thought that Brenda would probably resolve things quickly when she got the documentation. She has a very good reputation here.

Just as an aside, maybe when things calm down for you and you have your little one home, you can take a minute to post this over in the Breeder Review Forum where your original thread is. It would be nice for anyone reading it there to know it all worked out for you. Take care and enjoy Lucky!

Lucky is in my prayers. Glad that the surgery went well. I know this little one has a ways to go. Please keep us updated on his progress. While I am so sorry he is suffering with LCP - I hope that you will start a thread about Lucky & the diagnosis & help educate other yorkie owners about this rare, but very serious disease

I just wanted to update on Lucky. I have been in contact with Jacob and here is the latest

Lucky seems to be doing well. He is eating but he is not walking on his leg yet, which is to be expected. We will be keeping him in his play pen for the night and most of the day tomorrow. We will gradually encourage him to walk on his leg by the end of the week (hopefully he'll do it).

So glad to hear Lucky is doing well. I will pray that he has a fast recovery!! He will be up and at in no time. BTW Breny I admire you for the things you have done here in this case with Lucky!!!
