Also, just an update...Lucky went into surgery this morning and the vet just called and he is now out of surgery. The surgery seemed to go pretty smoothly. He was supposed to be picked up at 3:00 today, but the vet would like him to stay in the office a bit longer so he can be monitored. We are going to call back at 4:00 and they'll let us know if we can pick him up today or if he'll have to spend the night.

Lucky is in my prayers. Glad that the surgery went well. I know this little one has a ways to go. Please keep us updated on his progress. While I am so sorry he is suffering with LCP - I hope that you will start a thread about Lucky & the diagnosis & help educate other yorkie owners about this rare, but very serious disease
