Within the GB - Pet Store Issue thread, I believe there are linked documented cases of GB and her boyfriend selling sick dogs they never took responsibility for, one was a yorkie with liver shunt, the other a Frenchie. |

I have no doubt that Glenda Beavers breeds beautiful dogs. Did she use poor judgment in shipping puppies for her long time friend....probably so. One time about 20 years ago I had a friend come to me asking for money for an abortion. She was divorced with one child. I hesitantly gave her the money but now I have to live with the guilt the rest of my life that I contributed to the death of a child. If we all reflect back on our lives I am sure we all made choices that we regretted later. As a breeder I have made my share of mistakes. In the beginning I sold my puppies at 6 week and 7 weeks old. I started vaccinating at 6 weeks. I learned later these things were not wise and were frowned upon. I learned from my mistakes. We all do. Glenda Beavers may be regretting the mistakes she made. I am sure she knows now that her practices in helping a friend ship puppies are frowned upon by many. If someone chooses to not buy a puppy from her because of her past mistakes then that is their choice but if someone is looking for perfection in a breeder then I hate to say it but none are perfect. We all have made mistakes but most do not have them aired publicly. |

I would suggest you go back and read. In one post you incorrectly stated GB did not consign to a pet store and YOU posted the YTCA code of ethics. I provided the link to the document showing where GB DID consign to a pet store - to prove that you were wrong! As to the last sentence of your above quoted post - it makes no sense - "What's that got to do with the price of tea in China?" |

And Bildio, it is not a moot point as to whether or not GB is a YTCA member. As I do believe any reputable breeder, regardless of their breed club affiliation would tell you what GB has done is not ethical. |

Again, I will ask anyone that personally has one of Glenda's dogs and has had any problems or a negative experience to please post. Not someone that has "heard" or that has a freind who ....., but has first hand experience. Until then, we really don't know the whole story or the full circumstances of what transpired; I, for one, would feel terribly guilty for posting something negative about someone's livelihood without having ALL of the facts. |
