gloria FIRST OF ALL I AM NOT HER DAUGHTER. SECOND I KNOW WHAT HER KENNELS LOOK LIKE BECAUSE SHE SENT ME PICTURE,I TOLD YOU WE GOT TO BE EMAIL FRIENDS BECAUSE OF THE LOSS OF MY PUPPY THAT WAS BORN FROM HER FEMALE BIILY JOE. ALSO ON HER FIRST WEB SITE IT SHOWED THE CAGES AND SLOPING ROOFS. AGAIN NO ANIAMAL ABUSE. AND BY THE WAY YORKES IN FL ARE NOT 400-TRY MORE LIKE 850-1500. NOW i HAVE TWO YORKIES FROM A LOCAL BREEDER. MY MALE WHICH CAME HIGHLY RECOMENDED IS 2 YEARS OLD AND IS AT STAGE ONE OF KNEE CAP PROBLEMS. SO EVEN THE "GOOD BREEDERS" HAVE PRBLEMS IN THEIR LINE. |

I sure don't want to get in the middle of this argument...I just wanted to say that I just went to her website. Oh my goodness, when you click on Yorkies, the two pictures of the Yorkies that she has available tells the whole story. It makes me very, very sad. I can see how anyone would feel the need to rescue or save these poor babies. If the pictures of the "sheds" are where these babies are raised, I can't imagine anyone trying to defend what these people are doing. As I look down at my two little ones, fast asleep in their little beds next to me, it makes me want to cry for those babies that will never know the warmth of someone's kiss goodnight. Shame on them.... |

However, a potential pet buyer specifically looking for a cheap yorkie is a huge red flag for me. Why? Well, bets are that if something happens they are not going to be able to afford a Vet bill or don't want to pay a big Vet bill or want to surrender it because it ends up costing way more to own and care properly for one than what they paid buying one cheap. I sold a pup about 7 years ago didn't ask a lot of money but felt very confident with the buyers and their dog ownership history. Two weeks after they got him he jumped off the side of a chair broke a front leg. My instincts were right, they had him properly vetted and leg fixed to the tune of $2000. |
Why is anyone even responding to this stuff? If you know it's a puppymill and or BYB and someone is defending it then there is no use arguing with someone that can't see the truth and who is blind.... Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |

I have been contacted a few times by people whose first question is "how much are they" or "do you have any puppies under $300?" I have had people justsay, "I want a cheap or free Yorkie, can you help me?" I always point them to local Yorkie rescues and move on. BUT - people like that are easy prey for a Miller - it's like buying a new pair of shoes or something. |
HEY WALNUT HILS BREEDER. YOU SOUND LIKE A PUPPY MILL-JUST WENT ON YOUR SITE. YOU BRRED DOGS SO YOU CAN STAY AT HOME,JUST LIKE GLORIAS DAUGHTER. YOUR DOGS ARE ACA REG MOST PUPPY MILLS USE THAT REGESTERY. BECAUSE AKC ONLY LETS THE MALE STUD OUT 6 LITTERS IN HIS LIFE TIME OR 3 IN ONE YEAR. YOU ALSO DO NOT SHOW ON YOU WEBSITE THE ADULT BREEDER DOGS YOU HAVE. HMMM...........SEEMS FISHY TO ME:thumbdown |

And you can believe me I know what I´m saying - I have raised and shown persian cats for over 15 years. So tell us here no nonsense about breeding!!!!!!!!!! And an inbreeding is not done permanently from the responsible breeder, he makes this only once or twice and then he use an outcrossing! |

Our males are DNA profiled with the AKC, as required by the "frequently used sires" program. If you had been on here long enough to know, I post pics of our adults sometimes, and I email them whenever anyone asks. Plus, people can come see them if they like. Someone has to be with the dogs here full time - it's a lot of work to keep a clean, organized kennel, keep proper records, train and socialize puppies, etc. My husband makes a large income, I didn't go back to work because I didn't want the stress of all of it after having our second child. But, I wanted to do something to keep my mind working (I didn't get a Master's degree for nothing, LOL). We have one male that is ACA registered. Unfortunatlety, the breeder we got him from was not honest with us about his papers, and when we sent in his AKC registration, the litter had been cancelled. But, he has an excellent temperment, and so we still occasionally breed him - plus, his puppies are absolutely georgeous! |

I´m a quiet and friendly person but when I read such a nonsense about breeding from a person who thinks she must attack other Breeders (like WalnutHill) I will be very angry:mad:. Every breeder who takes care of his dogs and feels responsible for them knows that this is absolutely stupid! |

I hope that you are not willing to breed persians. It is a very special breed with special needs in grooming, raising and breeding and it´s not a breed for people with no experience in this. I hope you take very good care about your dogs and - if you are breeding them - you make a lot of thoughts about the healthiest lines and how to combine them best. Then you will be successfully and no other way gives you the joy for having success with healthy affectionate puppys and proud new owners. |
I am not hear to fight. The person that wrote about persians can you give me some info on them please thanks |
About persians THANK YOU FOR THAT INFO. NO I AM NOT BREEDING PERIANS-BUT I THINK THEY ARE ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CATS EVER. YES I DO TAKE CARE OF ALL MY DOGS. LIKE I SAID 3 OF MY BIG GERMAN SHEPHERDS SLEEP WITH AND MY HUSBAND IN OUR QUEEN SIZE BED LOL. MY 2 YORKIES ARE IN SIDE DOGS AND SLEEP WITH MY SON. I REALLY DO LOVE DOGS THEY EAT BETTER THAN US-TASTE OF THE WILD. THE ONLY TIME ONE OF MY YORKIE(MY FEMALE) GOES IN HER CRATE IS WHEN WE GO OUT. THE VET SAID SHE HAS ANXIETYS AND IF SHE IS LOSE WITHOUT US SHE WILL CHEW THINGS AND WE ARE SO AFRAID OF WIRE OR A SMOMACH OBSTRUTION(BAD SPELLING) SO I DID NOT MEAN TO OFFEND ANYONE OR FIGHT. i WAS JUST STATING THAT AS A PERSON I LIKE GLORIA. |

:thumbup:I AM A HOBBY BREEDER. AND DO NOT BREED BROTHER AND SISTERS. BUT I DO BREED 4 DIFFERENT BREEDS OF DOGS. MY DOGS ARE INSIDE DOGS 3 OF MY GERMAN SHEPHERDS SLEEP ON MY BED. THEY HAVE FREE RUN OF THE HOUSE AND ARE BREED TO A.K.C. STANDERDS. iF YOU GOT TO KNOW GLORIA SHE REALLY IS A GOOD AND CARING PERSON. WHAT SHE IS DOING IS JUST TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING. PEOPLE THAT BUY FROM PET STORES ARE THE ONES SUPORTING THE PUPPY MILLS. AND NO I AM NOT GLORIA LIKE SOMEONE THOUGHT ON THE LAST POST. ALSO SHE IS NOT IN HER 60'S SHE IS 56. SHE MAY LOOK OLDER DUE TO A HARD LIFE. BELIEVE ME RAISING AND SELLING DOGS IS A FULL TIME JOB. AND YES SHE SELLS THEM TO A BROKER. SHE TRYS THE WEB SITE FIRST WHAT DOES NOT GET SOLD GO'S TO PETLAND BY BROKER. THE BROKER AND PETLAND ARE WHO REALLY MAKES THE MONEY OFF THE PUPS. iF YOUR DOG WAS SICK YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED HER AND TOLD HER. SHE DOES GIVE YOU A 1 YEAR WARRENTY ON THE DOGS. AGAIN I DO NOT SURPORT THE MILLS. i DO SUPORT GLORIA. SHE IS A GOOD GOD FEARING WOMAN Do all of these 4 breeds of dogs ...sires and dams sleep with you? |
About me The 2 chihuahua sleep on the couch-one is 14 and set in his ways (likes the couch) and my morkies also sleep in the family room. We have alot of eagles and hawks-these are small breed dogs and go out side to do their poo and pee on the sceened in pool;area. I also live in a gated area and cages-not that i would do that.is not allowed. So what is your point? |

If the only place to get a dog from was a backyard breeder or a puppy mill, than none of us in this forum would ever buy a puppy!!!!! PERIOD. Do you seriously believe backyard breeders and puppy millers are a good thing?! My cute little dogs came from REPUTABLE SHOW BREEDERS, who took the time to research their lines and spend their time and hard earned money to show their dogs to confirm they were breed worthy. I don't suppose you understand that there is a standard to be met and kept. They haven't made a living off the backs of their dogs, rather they're always in the red, because they're doing it right! Your FRIEND Gloria's dogs live in 2 X 2 cages. If you were really her friend, you'd teach her that it is inhumane!!!! Advise her to get a REAL job. |

I always find it interesting the moment these things come up all of a sudden they're a "God fearing Christian", as if that automatically gives them credibility or a pass. Sorry, just as in all things, some Christians are wonderful, caring, ethical people, and some truly are not. It isn't about what or who you proclaim to be that tells the story. How we walk and live says it all, regardless of faith. Juliet |

Take a look at Still Kennel's home page, and tell me a "God fearing Christian" would make a living running a puppy mill and house their dogs in sheds! Still Kennel Purebred Puppies for Sale |

OMG, I just looked at her site.:( They should be ashamed of themselves.:thumbdown |
I saw the Homepage too, whats with all the Pics of Sheds. I would never buy a Yorkie that was raised in a Shed. How Sad... |
I am getting 2 cavilaiers from her in 7 weeks. I will let you know how they are health wise. As for the sheds(which are indoor and outdoor runs) that is where they are kept. Agian legal up to code. She has the picture on her site so she is not trying to hide anything-which means she is not doing anything wrong. The puupy that i had was not bought from her-it was brred by her. The broker buys them and transports them from many other puppy mills. So the pup most likely got it that way. Petland is one of the worst offenders. By the way i never got my money back from petland. The manager said i killed the dog. I had an autopsy done and the cause was provo. Any ways thats all for now-have a great day:d |
Just because people don't try to hide what they are doing and don't think what they are doing is wrong, doesn't make it right. The Taliban in Iraq does not hide what they do, does that makes it right? The fact that these puppies are raised in sheds with no human affection and no grass to ever run and play on or to not ever see the light of the sun..how on earth can you think this is right? Quote:
