Sasha's First Noel...Puppies at 2 weeks Hello Friends, The puppies are doing great and are growing more and more by the day. The eyes are open and they are so nosey (lol). Check them out at 2 weeks old in my albums section. I have tried to attach them to the thread but have been unsuccessful. Sorry!!!

Sasha weighs 5 pounds and dad is 3.5 pounds. Honestly, it has been a very good experience. I have not had any problems what so ever. All seven are healthy and doing great. I hear a lot of sad stories about unfortunate situations, but my experience has been absouletly AMAZING!!!! I was afraid that she would lose a baby or 2 because of different stories that I had read, but I say that every birth is different and so is every dog. I was also worried that Sasha would not be able to produce the milk that she needed to nurse her puppies, but with the help of the forums on here, I just gave her TUMS once a day and fed her Science Diet Puppy Food and her natural instincts did the rest. We are truly blessed.

I use identity bands that I got from my vet and trust me they are not tight. I use my index finger to make sure that there is enough room. They are checked daily. Last edited by Baby Phat; 01-18-2009 at 05:49 AM.
