Well, well, well... Gone for a few hours and the YT family multiplied!!! Congratulations to ALL new Mommies and their little bundles of joy!!! leucothea has that placenta showed up yet? Please don't wait too long to take your little Mommy in for her clean out shot if not. Well, I am happy to report that my Ginger has gained approximately two pounds and is just at seven pounds and is having four definite/five possible little ones. Four definite based on four clear skulls and spines, five possible based on a shadow of an additional skull and spine. My Veterinarian gave me Ginger's clean out shot because she doesn't believe in stressing Mom and babies unnecessarily by a day after office visit if it is not actually needed, put us on her calendar for all of next week for standby purposes. And, finally a seal of approval on attempting a natural birth based on the size of all skulls and her hips. So, now I am just sitting and waiting...GOSH, I hate the last few days! They are so stressful for me while the Mom just waddles and/or sleeps. :rolleyes: So, how's all the other Mommies in waiting doing these days? |

Another JAN 8th! Hi All! well, im new on here, i suppose.. i guess i just wanted some support my yorkie Reeses is due Jan. 8th i see her and ginger hold the same due date :).. well anyways im sooo nervous! ive been reading and watching videos on youtube like crazy for months and months.. and as the time ticks by i find myself with my hands on her belly just feeling the puppies move around so much.. she is on her 59th day today.. im soo nervous i just hope i do everything right.. i love my baby ( Reeses) soooo much and would doo anything for her!! LOL ok anyways i really just want everyones support and best wishes.. we think we could be having 4 maybe 5 but def 3 lol.. her tummy is soooo big! and she has gained 2.5 pounds soo far.. ok so ive just about talked you alls ears off soo ill shut up... tomorrow ill post pictures if i have time, and figure out how to do it but pretty much i jus wanted to ass my baby to the list of Jan babies :) PS im soo happy that someone else is due on the 8th.. i guess that means there will be two puppy watches for the 8th or maybe 7th or SOON! |

Day 55! YAY!!! Bailey is on day 55 and I am SO excited!!!!! I cant stinkin wait. I sit here rubbing her belly and can feel the babies moving. :D Boy oh Boy I can't wait! haha We had our xray on day 53 and we have 4 possibly 5. The doc wants us to come back next week to do a reshoot just to be positive on how many to expect...... I will keep you posted. I am counting down the days! :D Serisously, I am so GEEKED up!!! I'm not going to be able to sleep because I am so excited! haha As you can tell I am rambling, so until next time......... YAY!!! :grin2: :yay_jump: |

Glad to hear she is going to get it tomorrow if she has not passed it. There is a chance she may have and ate it but with our girls you always use the better safe than sorry approach. Some vets will use the wait and see approach but thats not the best approach with this/ Here is a link for everyone that does not realize what complications can arise from a retained placenta. Dam Almost Dies 6 Days After Pups were Born As a breeder we need to let our vets know that we want to use the safest approach for our girls. |

my kalie should be due this week or next she goes tommorow to th vet to see how many she is having they said they where doing an ultrasound what do you think is better ultrasound or xray at this stage! congrats to all the new mothers and the impending mothers!good luck |
Well Skittles started nesting at 12am. I kicked hubby out of room to go sleep in the spare room at about 4am cuz I thought for sure we'd have pups before sunrise. But now most of Sunday is gone and we are still waiting. She is restless and that is about it. I'm hoping for tonight sometime. Congrats to those who have already had their pups. Hoping for a safe delivery here and to everyone else. |
oh I hope she has her babies tonight.. I am still waiting on Taffy too.. today she refused to eat her lunch and looks very unconfortable but nothing here either.. hugs, Carmen in nj:) |
Good Morning.. No babies yet, I know my dad is going to be right..:cool:: She had a rought night last night, she does not seem to be able to lay down for more than 25 minutes at a time.:eek: My son did not go to bed until 3 am, he said that she kept him up rubbing her back, at 3 he came up and got me so he could sleep a bit to go to work this morning I brought her up to my room in her bed and we slept a bit until about 5 am,:p then she got up again. and now she is resting again and I am up..:confused: having coffee..I am sleep deprived...LOL my son is calling the babies the aliens within..LOL they MOVE so much sometimes I think they can come out thru her skin. Well let me go and give her breakfast and her vitamins, I just finished giving Prada and Harry boy their breakfast..:) hugs and have a great Monday.. Carmen in nj |
Funny that yesterday was day 66 for Skittles and last time she had pups it was on day 66 as well. She almost started having them at the same time as last litter as well. We have 2 girls and 3 boys. I'll try to get pics up sometime before Friday! Good luck to Taffy and the other mothers who are waiting. |

Well, I think Ginger may just be planning a long night for the both of us two days early. :rolleyes: Her temperature has been 98.2 ALL day, she won't eat - Not even raw hamburger and cottage cheese, which she loves, won't leave her whelping den and nesting every so often. Wish us luck... :hands: I'll have my daughter update YT if things start really happening! |
